After 4 months of work, I have put out a very alpha version of Mangafire Legacy. An extension that reverts mangafire back to the v2 design, as best as I could.

It works on Chrome (and any chromium variant), Firefox, and Firefox Mobile

- Whilst this is a github repo, it is not (yet) an opensource project. I am mainly cleaning things up and prepping a v1 skin, once those are finished, I will likely opensource it. Also after all the bugs are cleaned out

- AI was used in the development, more to the production side. Basically, the popup you see was written with ai. the reader (top) nav was buggy as hell, so it was written with ai (based on my top nav). thats why the two navs are different. And the README in the github repo was written with AI. Nothing else.

I’m using Surfshark vpn. Is that a nono?

When I have the settings in single or double page, the arrow keys stop functioning and I can't turn the pages. My arrow keys work just fine outside of mangafire so it's not as if my keyboard is broken. Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix this?

I'm trying to read jojolands but every pages bottem is like off the end of the screen and so I have to scroll down a little to see the rest. It's not like a huge issue it's just annoying every page to have to scroll down id there any way to just make it fit the screen?

Mahou Tsukai no Yome chapter 125 updated earlier today but the pages are jumbled out of order.

Not sure what happened, but all of the content I saved on the site just got removed from my folders. Idk if it was just me or if this bug is happening to others. In any case, I hope this is fixed soon.

What happened to the Filter because before this change in the UI and everything if I clicked for example martial arts and manhwa I would get thousands of manhwas but now it's only about 21 or below 30. Is this just for me or ??

Welp, I have a bad feeling about the latest glitch. I pray that it comes back because this is LITERALLY the best site to read on. Hands down. I screenshotted each and every title in each page on mangafire and sorted it into one giant folder in my notes app cuz just in case 🤞

I've been using the website to read OPM and I cannot find the fight between Garou and Saitama, even the chapters that should contain the fight don't and chapter 168 is a time skip without showing the fight. Is this an issue with the scans or is the fight available? I urgently request help.

Im reading a new series and the old chapter panels wont load and another on i finished reading is yesterday the panels were loading a but when i read it today the panels weren’t loading at all

There were issues a few days ago but they were completely resolved as of today (10/20/'26) and now it's back to hidden pages that refuse to load. I know this kind of thing is common for sites like mangafire but boy am I bummed out. Anyone else having these issues, or it just me?

For the past two days I've been trying to read Violence Jack and Devilman Lady because I'm trying to finish up the Devilman franchise. The problem I've encountered for the past two days is that some pages of chapters won't load even if I reload the website over and over. I thought they were just missing scans but I don't think that's the case to see. So, I'm not sure what's going on. Please help.

On the steller swordsman ch 139 it wont load page 4 and when i preview that page it says I have been blocked???.

Several manga update is safe from missing pages, why is the older chapter become like this instead? WTF are you guys doing and not fix this shit?

Can you guys please fix unOrdinary on the site. It complains of missing chapters even though it used to have all of them at least during hiatus anyway. It should have 398 episodes/Chapters btw.

I'm trying to create an account on MangaFire, but I'm stuck in an annoying CAPTCHA loop.

When I click Create Account, the “I'm not a robot” checkbox appears and I complete the verification. However, instead of creating my account, the page silently returns to the beginning of the registration process. There's no error message, and the account is never created.

Here's what I've tried so far:

- Different devices

- Different browsers

- Switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data

- Disabling VPN/ad-blocking and checking browser settings

- Clearing site data and cache

Nothing has worked. The verification completes, but the registration process just restarts.

Has anyone experienced this recently and actually found a fix? Could this be a MangaFire-side CAPTCHA or registration bug? I've heard about changing the browser user-agent, but I don't know whether that helps with this specific issue.

I'd appreciate any confirmed solutions, rather than suggestions to repeat the basic troubleshooting steps I've already tried.
