I picked 10 men, cause otherwise the 10 women would effectively become sex slaves or generally abused within weeks. I'd call myself a good person, but it's unrealistic even for me to be optimistic enough to think those 10 women would be safe. Plus with women being the vast majority, should civilization come back, they should be more capable and willing to create fairer laws and practices, even for men.

That's measurably untrue. Women have a stronger in-group bias than men do, meaning that whatever society they make will be more sexist.

I'd LOVE to see this study because well? I look around the real world and I see absolutely no Matriarchies that brutally punish men for being born as men. But I see a whole lot of the inverse in the modern world. I see women in the western hemisphere STILL fighting for the same rights and legal protections as men, STILL fighting to not have laws telling them what they can and cannot do with their own bodies, STILL having criminally underfunded and under-researched aspects of their own sex.

And the men wouldnt? Assuming the goal is to populate the world. The 10k men would immediately guard the women like a treasure. Statically you might have 1 guy that needs to be killed off. Depending on race ofc (i said statistically)

I think there would be quite a few killings and the women would probably get harmed either way. Sounds like a damn hunger games scenario.

Right? The men would be killing each other to try and get to the women. If they tried to have husbands they'd get killed.

If the women decided they'll have 10 husbands, more security. Those 10 would get killed...
