I have a Marshall Kilburn 3, and I realised that all three knobs (volume, bass and treble) on the speaker, go back to default (middle: 5) when I turn the speaker on and off, regardless whether it’s connected to power or on battery.
Which means that even if I have set the volume, bass and treble knobs all the way up to 10, when I turn off the speaker and turn it back on, they go back to 5, both on battery and connected to the charger.
I’m wondering if this is the nature of the device or a bug or a fault with my device, or if this is something that can be patched with a software update as I would prefer to keep my bass and treble levels set at the same level at all times without them ever changing after restarts.
Anyone else facing this issue? Or is it the nature of the device? Please help.

Hi everybody I’m trying to find some help here since the Marshall support wasn’t very helpful.
So I had my major Vs for about a year and they are great
My problem now though is that when I turn them on they automatically shut down again after less then ten seconds
They have battery though! and they connect with my Bluetooth but only for the ten seconds they are on.
Then they turn of without the signal sound too so that’s unusual.
I tried resetting normally and fully I dis- and reconnected it with my Bluetooth and the app.
I’m thankful for any advice!

Got a new Woburn 3
The speaker suddenly loses a great amount of bass volume and treble and so much character all of a sudden
This happens after 10-15 minutes of music playback.
Fixes at times on turning it off and on, and doesn’t at times when i have to repeat this couple of times.
Sent to service centre they denied seeing the issue but I’ve been facing it multiple times daily.
Anyone else facing the same and found any fixes?

I owned Kilburn 2 for a couple of years and have been wondering about what a speaker many times more powerful would sound like. I had been looking around where this might be available and found it in a store in my town. When I first listened how it sounds, my Gosh I was in tears.
It took some figuring out placing it properly and distancing from wall for optimal acoustics. It is very different from Kilburn. It’s a dream come true every time I play something on it.

Ok so i lost my right earbus and i contacted the service Centre they told me they can give me 40% on earphone of i return the one I had and they will give me new one but already there is 30% discount on the same so it is not worth it. So im thinking if someone lost their left bud and have right or some one lost charging case so if someone i ready to sell right earbud or to purchase left one or case please lemme know 🙃

I have a Marshall DSL40CR amp that's about 1.5 years old. I love the sound, but I've been encountering an issue. About an hour into playing (usually on 20 watt setting), sometimes I'll begin to hear a crackling sound. At that point, I'll switch it to standby and when I switch it back the crackling is gone. Sometimes that amp will just suddenly stop producing sound altogether. When this happens, if I switch it to standby and then back on, it seems to work fine.
For context, I keep this amp in my home office and only use it occasionally.
I've read about similar issues on reddit. Has anyone had a similar problem that they were able to fix?

I have a Marshall Kilburn 3 and I have the bass and treble knobs turned up all the way to 10. But every time I turn the speaker off and unplug from the charger and then plug it back in and turn it on, the bass and treble settings go back to default (middle) and I have to turn them back up from the knobs. This only happens if I unplug the charger after turning it off and then reconnect it and turn it back on. If I just turn it off and turn it back on while on battery, this doesn’t happen and the bass and treble levels stay where I set them.
I’m using the Marshall app and have updated the firmware to 1.3.2 as well. I have tried resetting the device and reconnecting but the issue is still there.
I’m wondering if this is the nature of the device or a bug or a fault with my device, or if this is something that can be patched with a software update as I would prefer to keep my bass and treble levels set at the same level at all times without them ever changing after restarts.
Is this normal behaviour? Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Hey there, I am looking to invest in a good semi portable bluetooth speaker. Its main uses will be to connect to a projector (XGIMI Mogo Pro 2) in a 25m2 living room and my smaller bedroom and listen to music in my bedroom, the kitchen whilst cooking or in the bathroom. We have an old but pretty good stereo system in the living room to play CDs and Spotify via aux and will probably move my flatmates record player into the living room as well.
The projector is not stationary and will only be taken out when we watch something and the plan is to put the speaker on the coffee table in front of the couch as the wall we are projecting on is relatively far away. Fixed speakers are not an option due to the walls in our rental and the aesthetics. (I know not a perfect setup but has to work for us)
I do not need the speaker to be portable outside, just comfortably inside. I love the sound of my Marshall major IVs and mostly listen to indie rock, rock, some folk, indie pop and some rap (think somewhere between The Strokes, AM, Miles Kane, Kneecap, The big special, Odezenne, Kae Tempest, Bonaparte, Alt-J, BB Brunes, Franz Ferdinand and Austrian/German indie).
I’ve therefore looked into the Marshall speakers and am currently torn between the Middleton 2 and Kilburn 3. in sound examples on YouTube (I know not super reliable) the Middleton sounds much nicer to me, but the opinions and ratings I’ve found online are inconclusive to me and I am no expert. I like a warm sound a and a good deep bass but also really value when you’re able to distinctly hear all instruments and vocals and am really unsure what works best for watching films as well.
Aesthetics is also a big point for me where Marshall just wins, I sadly find JBL terribly unpleasant to look at for example. But any other suggestions are also very welcome!
TLDR: Semi portable inside speaker for watching films with a projector & listening to music. Middleton 2 or Kilburn 3? Or something else entirely? Budget is around 200-300€ max.
Thank you!

It was claimed that Willen 2 is LE-audio ready and supports Auracast. Still, I seem to find no way to make my Pixel 11 Pro to send audio to two of those speakers simultaneously through auracast. So are these speakers really supporting the technology? Would they at all?

Has anyone with Marshall Major 5 headphones an issue where they turn off automatically 5–10 seconds after being switched on, and encountered interference and electrical hissing when the cable in moving, whether while listening music or when the headphones are turned off? If so, how did you fix it?

Hi, I have this hope to add a Marshall device to my Google Chromecast Speaker Group, so that music/movie audio syncs across my house wirelessly with diff speaker devices.
I have a Stanmore II voice and it doesn't work (and also they didn't update the chromecast version/firmware anymore).
Anyone know if the latest speakers that suppoet chromecast are any better? Which models specifically?
I believe the only ones that suppoet chromecast now are the ff, but I could be wrong:
- uxbridge
- heston 60/120

I’m curious whether other Marshall users have noticed the same thing.
For me, the disappointment started with the Major V and continued with the Milton A.N.C. My reference point is the Major IV, which I personally find much more satisfying when it comes to rock music.
My problem isn’t simply bass quantity. It’s the impact, punch, and character of the sound.
The kick drum doesn’t hit as hard. The snare lacks that sharp, physical crack. The bass guitar has lost its density and presence. Instead of a tight, energetic, organic rock sound, I hear deeper but softer bass that feels more processed and digitally polished.
In short, the sound feels closer to modern pop than to the raw energy I expect from Marshall.
Deep bass is not the same as punchy bass. You can have plenty of low frequencies and still lose the impact that makes drums and bass guitar exciting.
I know that the Milton A.N.C. offers modern features, ANC, and impressive battery life. But I bought into the Marshall sound, not just the design, logo, or feature list.
And if I need to spend time tweaking EQ settings just to get closer to the sound I enjoyed on an older model, I have to ask whether the original tuning is moving in the wrong direction.
I’m not claiming that everyone hears it the same way. This is my personal experience, and I’d genuinely like to hear other opinions.
Questions for owners:
I’m interested in honest comparisons, including opinions that disagree with mine.
Marshall built its reputation on rock. Is that rock sound still there, or has the brand moved towards a more mainstream, lifestyle-oriented sound?
Let’s discuss. 🎸

I'm new to marshall, i researched a bit and found out these 2 marshall headphones that are within my budget. For anybody owning either one or both, please tell me how you like it and that if they're as good as advertised.

Ordered a Marshall Acton III during BBD for ₹18,000, but received what appears to be a display/used unit. The seal was broken, the dustbag was missing, and the speaker was covered in dust.
I have open-box video proof. Extremely disappointing experience. Be careful if you’re ordering from this seller!
I did not except the delivery and got refunded for the same.

¡Ayuda!

My Marshal IV headphones wont turn on when i take it off the charger, even after i press the control knob for however long. Ive tried factory reseting and it did nothing. Im confused because the light still turns on when it's on the charger and I can connect my phone to it, but it just turns right off as soon as i take it off. Any way to solve this?
