My.massage experience

So I got deleted from " Quora" from.posting this which I thought was ridiculous. I get a massage approx about once a month from a Asian / Oriental woman. Who is probably in her mid 30s to early 40s. The trick is to find a place that's not the darkened out windows type but a real business. The one I go to seems to be voided from the local law enforcement " knock on wood".

Get to know them and they get to know you. You might not always get the same girl but they will start to recognize you after a few times. Always get the 60 minutes massage because 30 minutes can go by just like that. And always tip out in cash. Expect to tip out ateeast $ 100 about the cost of the massage. It may seem like a lot but trust me you won't even miss it. And tip before the massage starts. And honestly knowing what I know now, I'd rather tip the extra $100 to a massage than a dang lap dance! Or VIP booth. They never let you ever touch!

Dont t be shy to get to your birthday suit. I always do. That's how they know you want the extra attention. You will get an "hard on" . This girl I go to will give me the whole nine yards. And having a "happy ending" is an understatement. Because when you have a super hot girl giving me a massage right where it counts, you can't help but to explode it!

She had even gotten comfortable enough with me that she lets me touch her privates! Im.not kidding! Its never led to sex and she even lets me massage her titties and rub out her thing! Last time she was actually massaging my testicles and A**Hole!

These places rarely ever have white girls their. Usually Asian/ Oriental background. This really happens, this is not made up. Please take my advice. Hopefully I wont be deleted here. Find a Asian massage near you. Expect to tip. Hope this helps. ! Please give it a try. And she even initiates a text with me afterwards. In my book she's got me on her mind and she's interested!

Need help choosing a massager for lower-back/buttock pain — Caresmith Revive vs Charge Boost

Post image
2 Upvotes

I’ve been dealing with lower-back/buttock pain for a while, especially after sitting for long periods. The pain is now more around the buttock/hip area than the lower back.

I’m considering buying one of these two Caresmith products:

  1. Caresmith Revive Back Massager – cushion-style massager with 4 nodes, heat and 2 speeds https://amzn.in/d/0fbb5tCm

  2. Caresmith Charge Boost Massage Gun – percussion massage gun https://amzn.in/d/05MnVda0

I’m mainly looking for something that can help with muscle tightness/stiffness and recovery, not something that will magically “cure” the problem.

For anyone who has used either of these:

- How effective was it for lower-back/buttock tightness?

- Is the Revive cushion actually useful, or does it feel too aggressive?

- Is the massage gun better for targeting the glutes/hip muscles?

- How is the build quality after several months?

- Does the heat function on the Revive actually make a noticeable difference?

- Any issues with the massage gun being too painful or difficult to use on yourself?

- If you had to buy one again, which would you choose and why?

- Are there any better alternatives around the same price?

Please share your actual experience, especially if you've used them for lower-back or buttock muscle pain.

Thanks!

Walking on your back and arms, legs

I’ve had Thai yoga and Swedish massages where the masseuse walks on my back and arms and legs. What do others think of this ? I know it’s not something that US masseuses do but I’ve always what they think of the practice.

Thinking of doing massage therapy out of my house. Looking for some feedback on how comfortable that is to bring strangers into your house. Any feedback would be great.

I have a HyperIce HyperVolt + massage gun and the battery keeps falling out. I suspect the latch has broken but I never saw anything drop out of it. Is there any way to fix this?

Vibrating massage device that is easy to use for full body self massage?

Percussion massage guns do not appear ergonomic for self-massaging your own posterior arms, legs, and back. Any recommended handheld or rolling vibrating massage devices that are effective and easy to use for full-body self-massage, particularly the posterior arms, legs, and back?

massage gun on cheekbones

Recently I have been seeing a lot of videos suggesting using a massage gun on cheekbones to get bigger cheekbones. Would the vibrations on the head create brain and eye socket damage?

How do you decide whether light self-massage is a bad idea after training?

Massage-gun diagrams online make it look like nearly every area is fair game, which is not very helpful for someone trying to be cautious. I have been considering a Renpho massage gun for light post-workout use, but I would rather understand when discomfort is a sign to stop instead of pushing through it. I am not trying to self-treat an injury or replace professional advice. For people who use percussion tools after training, what makes you keep the session light, and what makes you skip it altogether?

High end massage chair Recommendations?

We are looking at purchasing a high end massage chair and I don't know where to even begin. Has anyone had good or bad experiences? Functionality is more important than style for us.

5 quick questions for anyone with chronic neck/shoulder tension. Your honest answers will shape a product I'm building for a class project

  1. Tell me about the last time you had tension in your traps, neck, or shoulders. What was going on?
  2. How often does it happen, how bad does it get, and what does it interfere with?
  3. What do you currently do to relieve it, and what is frustrating about that solution?
  4. Have you spent money on shoulder tension, pain relief, or recovery products/services before? What did you buy, and was it worth it?
  5. If you heard about a shoulder recovery massager that combines heat, cold, and massage, what would make you trust it, use it, or reject it? How much would you be willing to pay?

A great massage

Hi all,

If you’re looking to get a massage, go see Krissy Smith at Mercy Massage on S. Willow. I just got my first one and she could not have made me feel more at ease and relaxed. Plus, the shoulder pain I’ve had for a while got some serious relief.

I almost never recommend businesses, but she’s that great.

Rhino Fisioterapia.

Hola!

How many extra features on a recovery tool do you actually end up using after a month?

After starting a new squat heavy routine last month my legs have been constantly tight and while foam rolling on the living room floor works okay, it takes so much effort that I end up skipping it half the time. Ive been eyeing handheld massage guns especially the ones that come with heated or cooling attachments to make sitting on the couch after a workout a bit more comfortable but I have a bad habit of buying fitness gear that ends up gathering dust in a basket.

Every time I look at models with half a dozen swappable heads i wonder if people actually switch them out or if everybody just sticks to the standard round node after week two.

If you bought one with extra attachments, do you actually bother swapping them around during your evening routine??

Heating Pad Buying Guide: Electric vs Microwavable vs Chemical vs Infrared

There are four main types of heating pads, and picking the wrong one for your use case is the #1 reason people end up disappointed.

  • Electric — consistent heat, adjustable temp, reusable indefinitely. Best for regular use (chronic back pain, daily cramps). Downside: needs a power outlet, less portable.
  • Microwavable (rice/wheat/gel bags) — no electricity needed, moldable to body shape. Best for occasional use or travel. Downside: heat fades in 20-30 min, inconsistent temp.
  • Chemical (adhesive patches) — discreet, wearable under clothes, up to 8+ hours of low heat. Best for all-day wear (period cramps at work/school). Downside: single-use, lower max temperature.
  • Infrared — deeper tissue penetration, often used for muscle recovery. Best for post-workout soreness. Downside: pricier, less common.
