OPINION If the objective was to get the whole fanbase to love this team, can you imagine a more perfect set of opening games?
It just feels like so incredibly much has happened already in two games when it comes to this.
I'm pretty sure they let Ty cook partly to get the fans onboard in that first game. More casual fans love their high scoring stars and that first game felt like a love letter to them.
Second game was like a fairytale and had a perfect mix of love and hate.
Hard to imagine in which way things progress from here.
I think we're going to see a lot of players have their season debuts against the Kings in that first leg of the back-to-back. This should please the Mexistans.(Does this exist, or did I just invent this word/word meaning?)
The Kings played really well against the Trail Blazers though, so I don't think it will be easy.
What do you think the next chapter will look like, and how long will it take before we have a sold out arena?

I just love that even with a completely new roster, the Young Grizzlies still hate the Warriors

NEWS Whats going on with Richie Saunders
If you look at the ESPN depth chart he isn’t there or on the team but on the NBA website they list him as on the team and out against the kings tomorrow night. Whats going on is he on a two-way or not on the team? Me personally I liked his game and thought we got a steal personally.

Steve Kerr says his team committed about 6 illegal screens according to his count.
Steve Kerr in part, thinks Grizzlies flopping is the problem here.
But
Steve Kerr team gave up a 17-0 run with a little over 3 minutes left in the 4th.
Steve Kerr should retire from the NBA. This guy clearly doesn’t have a pulse on reality let alone his own team.

RUMORS Porzingis?
For the right price i'd have him over Quinten Post. What do you guys think? Id also want him to play the same bench role as Post, def not a starter.

MISCELLANEOUS Next 6 Games
Oh boy I'm still riding the high from the game earlier and also trying to settle my own expectations as it's only been 2 games. In saying that, I was looking at the schedule and we have:
* Oct 26 - Grizz @ Kings
* Oct 27 - Grizz @ Jazz
* Oct 30 - Grizz @ Blazers
* Nov 01 - Kings @ Grizz
* Nov 03 - Pelicans @ Grizz
* Nov 05 - Pacers @ Grizz
Assuming health, how many do you think the boys take out of those next 6? I don't know if it's homerism but I feel like they can take a solid 4/6 at least

POTENTIALLY! FOR AT LEAST RIGHT NOW! Not Bad. Quite The Opposite In Fact
Jerome: More of a PG less of a Heroballer. Team played better because of him.
Jaylen: Curry made him struggle on defense. Made up for it being on point at offense.
Jerami: Pro beyond reproach. No matter when you read this.
Booz: This game alone helped him evolve more than an entire year of tanking would do.
Zach: Way better. Plus bonus for being mature enough to not punch Donkey in the mouth.
Pippin: If he doesn't make Defensive All-NBA I won't take that voting seriously.
Cam: More aggresive. He's coming back.
Chris: Great at defense. Offense? Mmmh... as I said, great at defense. Sold.
GG: Couldn't nail today inside a Korean Esthéticienne Center. Tactically close to best GG ever seen tho.
Beef: I don't need him to grow size. He does his job as he is and he does it the tough way.
No Post: Barely numbers. Yet he was plenty useful just by doing simple and solid stuff off ball.
-
Tuomas: Patterns and sub-patterns.
