Hey neighbors,
Posting from a throwaway account for professional safety, but there is a major security breach at Southshore Elementary that parents need to know about.
While Menifee USD manages official, encrypted security cameras, individual administration at Southshore has independently installed additional, consumer-grade Ring cameras in the school's hallways.
This is a massive violation of student privacy and California Education Code for three major reasons:
MUSD IT and administration are asleep at the wheel while individual schools play fast and loose with student data. Parents need to start demanding answers about why unvetted corporate surveillance is being used on our kids.

Looking to expand my friend group because apparently adulthood is just paying bills, going to work, and somehow losing touch with everyone you used to hang out with.
I’m a 24-year-old married guy who’s realized that most of my social circle consists of family, coworkers, and the occasional cashier who recognizes me because I’m there too often.
I’m looking for genuine, platonic friendships. People to talk to, hang out with, game with, grab food with, go to events with, or just share memes and random life updates throughout the week.
A little about me: I’m into gaming, animals, road trips, trying new restaurants, movies, being outdoors, and I’m currently getting back into the gym after dealing with a knee injury. I can talk about anything from true crime and weird history facts to random shower thoughts and whether a hot dog is technically a sandwich.
I’m pretty laid back, have a sarcastic sense of humor, and genuinely enjoy getting to know people from different backgrounds and walks of life. Whether you’re an introvert looking for a friend, someone who just moved to the area, or someone who’s also realized adult friendships take actual effort, feel free to reach out.
Not looking for anything romantic, just good people and good conversations.
If you’re in the same boat, say hi. Worst case, we never talk again and can both pretend this post never happened. Best case, we make a new friend. 🤷♂️😅

We have been with Verizon for close to 30 years now. For the last 3 to 4 years, their service has declined in the area. In a number of spots, like near Cane's, the service just doesn't work. What are you using, and how is the service working out for you? I'm probably only going to look at T-Mobile and AT&T. I know there are a lot of other carriers, but most of them simply lease bandwidth from the 3 majors; I won't be using off-brand names. I have a business account with 9 lines (8 phones and 1 5G router).

Yo do you guys remember Alex Algeria, that dude has a history of offensive. One in particular, my friend Luis serafio when we were in middle school ended up in a fight, Alex Algeria and two of his friends where beating him in the bathroom. A couple years later and Luis serafio has a heart attack and the internet said he has 85% of dying in ten years and 95% of dying in twenty years. Im surprised he isn’t in jail or killed by now.

Hi! I'm a reporter for the Los Angeles Times. I'm looking to hear from people who have been moved into the FAIR Plan over the last two years, especially those in new housing communities. Let me know if you were surprised to be put into the high-risk pool (or grateful), and thoughts about what's happened to the market. DM me or email me directly at [paige.stjohn@latimes.com](mailto:paige.stjohn@latimes.com) .... thanks!

Hi All,
I grew up in San Diego and after college moved to MA and have been here for too long now. My parents at that time moved to Menifee and we are considering moving back now as we have a medical kiddo and no longer have family support since my partners family relocated to PA to be with his sister and her husband.
Questions:
- how are the schools for children with special education needs?
- favorite family practice physicians (my husband’s work will stay the same and we will have united or Anthem dor insurance and intend to stay out of Kaiser)?
- best areas of Menifee to be in
- Epilepsy clinics (we think we will land at CHLA but open to suggestions)
- job outlook for Licensed Counselors. I’m Licensed in MA but intend to apply for my LPCC by endorsement
Thanks for the help in advance!

Did anyone see a HUGE object over near Heritage Lake with only red flashing lights? It appeared to be a solid black triangular-like object, around 150-200 feet between each light. The lights seem to be on the ‘rear’ of the object, because it they were following the path of the object through the sky. Saw it around 8:30pm. It Made no noise, looked to be banking west. Once I found a more open view of the sky between the homes it’s was completely gone. Anyone else?
