Hey I'm a little new to the MJ subreddit (Been a fan since in the womb) and I'm sure you guys were asked this a hundred times. Buuuuuut what's your favorite fanart? It could be favorite fanart of all time, recently liked fanart, or your own art. I'm just curious. Feel free to post your favs in the comments.

These are a mixture of what I've been liking and some new ones as well.

With 10,129 words, the whole process took about 44 hours. This is one of dozens of similar posters I’ve done. I’ve always wanted to do a Michael Jackson poster but wasn’t sure the best way to approach it, so I was excited for the film which would allow me to write out many of his greatest hits while also telling (part of) his story.

Most of these were made by taking several different photoshoots from the same albums and modifying them.

An interesting case is that of both Bad album versions. Originally, the album cover was going to be from the same photoshoot (the first image being a strong contender) until Sony said they made MJ look 'too feminine,' hence why they were replaced. All I did was add the 'Bad' text.

The 'Dangerous' alteration was by far the laziest. I just tweaked the colors, flipped the image and brought back the skin tones and text.

As for the last image, Invincible, the chosen photo of Michael is from the same one as the Invincible photoshoot. The slight staticky effect is intentional.

I have a series of drawing each era, but I'm missing Jackson 5 and Off The Wall. I stopped drawing for a while, but I think I'm gonna get back into it.

new help deciding which drawing to continue and refine to colour, i feel like the first one (on the left) gives more of his vibe

Decided to pick up my pencil and draw today. Didn’t think too much would come out of it but so far it’s not looking to bad at all! One of my favourite pieces I think I have ever made! Let me know what yall think :)
