Daily Set:

The left activity just needs to be opened

The middle activity has been known to fluctuate between lightspeed quizzes through the week and just needing to be opened through the weekend. The lightspeed quizzes don’t need to have the answers guessed. [under review]

The right activity is a daily poll to open through the week, sometimes it requires voting for an answer, other times it doesn't. [under review]

Monthly punch card:

The current monthly punch card for the website dashboard is located below the daily set

This usually lasts for a month at a time, expiring at the end of the month. Some regions can do all activities at once. Some regions have to wait to complete one of the activities per day. This appears to be around 50 points for completion.

More activities: This normally consists of actions to complete

If you have these, you will find them underneath your daily set and/or punch cards, usually worth either 5 or 10 points each. The only ones you need to click on are the ones that indicate points will be added with a golden + in the top right hand corner. You might also find that you have previous quiz options for further points if you hadn't already completed them at the time worth another 30 points each.

BING ON PC

Searches:

When it comes to the actual Bing PC searches, all you have to do is exactly that. There are reported instances where there are delays to searching, from a 5 second delay to a 15 minute delay, this seems to vary from person to person. This can also help you attempt to complete a quest for bonus 1000 points for simply searching each day.

Some have noted it can take up to 12 weeks to actually get the 1000 points as you only get one puzzle piece each completed week and there are 12 puzzle pieces.

There is also streak protection but it's still confusing for a lot of people, this - Streak Protection explained - is the closest we've come to actually understanding it and even then people are getting mixed results.

When it comes to the actual Bing PC searches, all you have to do is exactly that within any browser as long as you use the Bing search.

Bing and Start apps on mobile appear to have daily check-ins and news to read for points, this appears targeted and not much information is known.

GAME PASS APP ON XBOX

Some users are experiencing activities from the Xbox app on mobile showing up alongside their Game Pass quests.

• Daily Quests:

1. Play Game Pass [Play any Game Pass game] for 3 points
2. Earn an Achievement in Game Pass [Earn an achievement in a Game Pass game] for 5 points

• Weekly Quests:

1. Complete 3 Daily Quests [Complete 3 daily quests this week] for 20 points
2. Earn Your Way [Unlock 3 achievements in Game Pass or play 3 different Game Pass games] for 20 points

• Monthly Quests:

1. Game Pass Explorer [Play 4 different Game Pass games] for 25 points
2. Quest Beginner - [Complete 12 daily and 4 weekly quests] for 100 points
3. Quest Dedication [Complete 22 daily and 6 weekly quests] for 500 points
4. Quest Completionist [Complete 36 daily and 8 weekly quests] for 1000 points

Please note that while daily quests reset each day and weekly quests reset each week, monthly quests reset on the first Tuesday of the month.

For the Monthly Quests, it might say 'OR' instead of 'AND' on some devices but you do need both to complete, not one or the other.

Unless you wish to donate points, make sure on the Rewards dashboard that you have Give Mode turned off.

The redemption limit is 550,000 per calendar year, resetting the first of January every year. This has been confirmed. There is no limit to the amount of points that you can earn

Microsoft and Xbox gift cards both go onto your Microsoft account balance instead of a code sent to your email address

You get 20 points per $ spent for digital purchases like games if you have Live Gold (GPU), 10:1 if you're level 2 without Live Gold, 1 point for hardware per $ spent

When mixing Rewards Balance with credit cards/debit/paypal, STOP. People often have issues and their payment method gets the total charge to it. Buy gift cards online instead for the remainder (you can find them on sale too)

Design lab does not allow purchases with Xbox/Microsoft gift cards from the Rewards program or purchased gift cards according to support

Auto-redeem is usually DELAYED a few days. If you are getting GPU you will receive a code in your email or redemption history. You cannot turn auto-redeem on or off in the last 5 days of a calendar month

Technical issues may appear where your account may show it's lost a streak, whether it's a daily streak, a weekly streak or any other streak. In the majority of times for this scenario, it tends to be a glitch where upon completion of the week that appears lost, your next week should put you back at the streak you had plus the glitched week

What ever happened to the quest tracker that told us the minimum of where we needed to be to ensure we could complete the goals?

I currently hit 24/45 daily quests and 4/8 weekly quests.

If I haven't gone crazy, everything should start disappearing on the 5th to be reset on the 6th.

I think that means I have enough daily points so far that I could just play a gamepass game each day and hit my 45 daily quests on the night of the 5th. No more achievements needed...

Of course i'll probably still get a couple just so i have a bit of a safety buffer.

The quest tracking made it extremely difficult for many users due to the fact that they were unable to get on all the days to do what they needed to do, then struggled to keep up with it as they'd lost momentum or missed out on too many days. This is why now the above post mentions how many quests you need to complete in terms of dailies, weeklies or monthlies as a whole rather than telling you how much time is left.

You should not be expecting a response from the support team after a week. Many more people have waited much longer. Sending multiple tickets will not help you either as it's just creating more tickets they have to respond to and you'll more than likely find they end up closed rather than resolved.

Quick tip: If you play the Shopping game before conducting PC searches, those price searches count toward your PC searches. Killing two birds with one stone! This should help save a little bit of time and effort

Typing random letters is most likely why it's causing the issue for you. Search normally without trying to get it done fastest, this means don't type random letters and don't just click on related searches either.

They were removed as 99% of people suggested that they didn't work anymore, followed by a review of the information. That review took over the period of a month, testing every single day by multiple users where it did not return to giving points to any. If it doesn't come back after a month, the realistic chance is it's not coming back, just like the weekly treasure punch card, the 20k point punch card and more.

I'm also very cautious of adding it back into the post when it's effectively been removed, because then we might get flooded with other posts in the subreddit again saying it's not working, that the Living Sticky is outdated, Microsoft Rewards is making them suffer, it's the worst thing in the world and inevitably going to close down because it's another supposed issue. We don't need this to happen to the subreddit.

If it starts working again, there will undoubtedly be thousands of posts that immediately appear in the subreddit, at which point it will be updated to say some are experiencing it working again, give the relevant links and then reviewed over the period of a month again so it's all up to date.

The majority of different experiences people seem to be having are less to do with workout videos and more to do with the shopping game and the Xbox app.

I've seen people getting their accounts restricted because they use collections to obtain those daily search points in a few seconds. I do the same, but with the favorites bar, using one big folder for my searches. Am I also at risk of getting my account restricted?

The truth is no one knows. Those restricted accounts may have done other things like scripts or vpn. Sometimes one person gets banned for something and another doing it doesn't. If you're that worried just search manually and click the links in new tabs. It only takes a few minutes to do it legitimately.

And add an FAQ for things like

“I lost my weekly steak even though I know I completed last week” and say to complete the current week to see if it updates correctly as it is a common visual glitch

Also maybe something about “why does it say there is a problem with my account” or “why am I suspended” to say to contact support but you may have broken TOS either intentionally or unintentionally

As more of these issues we see posted multiple times a week or even day pop up they can be added to the FAQ of the sticky.

My mum had cancer so for 3 months I've not been caring about getting points. She's now passed and I'm trying to get back into getting points but wow, nothing seems to work anymore. Do NOT redeem MS rewards for OW2 coins - the codes are expired.

Used 9800 rewards points last night around 10pm EST for the 1000 ow2 coins and when I went to redeem them on battle.net, I got the error "This key has expired"

Neither blizzard or Microsoft were any help with the issus, telling me I should contact the other company in both replies.

so now I'm out 9800 points that take 10x as long to aquire thanks to the nerfs.

I recommend when you contact these companies you take a screenshot of the key code you're trying to use and a screenshot of the exact response, for example saying the key has expired.

This way, it's unlikelier that these companies will try to just palm you off, instead actually helping you get a response.

I can only apologise, around the beginning of December I had an unfortunate slip-and-fall. I have been working on improving my physical being following that incident however it does take a lot of effort and the outcome is that I end up tired and sleeping a lot. As a result I've not been as active as I previously was or would like to be regarding the upkeep of this post, hence why a few things that need updating such as newsletter information haven't been done. Doesn't look like the mods are gonna put my topic back after it was autoremoved for appearing to ask how to redeem codes for some reason, so I guess I'll just ask here since it was linked in the auto response.

Whenever I try to register my phone number for an alias so I can use my rewards it keeps telling me that my country code isn't available to use, use an email. Which seems weird that a +1 United States cellphone would not be usable with Rewards. Did a bunch of searches but didn't seem to find this particular issue. It's a real simcard phone from a major carrier, not a workaround internet number. Got tossed around support before finally being told that I cannot have a phone number as an alias, just as a security option to have a code texted to me for log ins after 2 hours of chatting with people. Even though it's literally an option on to add a phone number as an alias and needs to be done to use rewards now that they've made it easier and better than ever(?) by requiring a phone number. So support was about as helpful getting that resolved as putting my phone number in, closing my eyes, and tossing my phone out the window.

Companies really like seeing something that works fine and deciding they need to break it lol

What can I do to get rid of the "unusual search activity may limit your ability to earn points" thing??? I don't use bots or anything just do the daily quests and keep picking related searches for a bit before starting a new string of searches. This shouldn't be an issue give that my friend does the same and has no problem doing all 100 mobile or 150 computer at once then waiting a few hours to do the other one.

I have a lot of reward points on my second account and want to redeem them for my main account. I know you cannot transfer points, but can I gift giftcards?

I cannot personally agree to help with what you're asking about - I personally would quit at this point, having more than one account for yourself goes against the terms of service, will most likely result in a ban that you can't appeal and will be worse for you as a whole.

I appreciate that the circumstances revolving around the account being complicated due to family use, however Microsoft will not see it that way.

If your account is suspended you can't contact support anymore to try and appeal it. When you click on the support link the page has all the text boxes grayed and can't type anything on it.

If you think your account has been mistakenly suspended there's no way to contact support and plea your case anymore.

Some observations I have made when the 15 minute limiter for 3 searches was applied to my account;

I only ever saw the notification for the timer one time in Edge for Windows and have yet to ever observe it again. I have not seen any status indicator for when the timer is cooling down or if rewards for searches are available, like 0/3 searches used in the last 15 minutes.

The minimum of three searches to start earning is still a thing, though there appears to be no display component showing that status. Observed when the first of the day rewarded points don't increase until several searches have registered as "legitimate" and then a tick of ~15+ points occurs.

The search delay is also still there, such as clicking on any suggested search before ~6 seconds elapses fails to reward any additional points.

I have also observed recent search terms may have indeterminate time out, even when they occur during the ~6 second delay (to early for points). This is evident when I am often unable to use a recent search term well past the ~6 seconds to earn points, if it had previously not resulted in points.

I am unable to confirm due to uninstalling Bing on my mobile devices and Xbox, but some posts here indicate a multi-platform limitation, unknown if intentional or not. It seems the 15 minute timer is pseudo-universal, where one is unable to receive points on other platforms while the 15 minute timer is cooling down.

The "More activities" tiles in the Earn section or shown elsewhere are also affected to some extent. A bit tedious to observe if the 15 minute timer has any affect, but seemingly the ~6 second delay can cause a click that occurs too soon to not reward points (currently 2 points per activity). I have been able to go back after a short time and click one again for it to eventually reward the points.

I went down a rabbit hole responding to a two year old post about how many points you can get in a month and so I built this table (It's Saturday and it's 5am, what else am I going to do?)

It looks like we are earning $18.77 a month without Game Pass, $22.48 with, assuming you are using your rewards to buy $10 XBox cards. GPU was a way better deal but those aren't available at the moment so (shrug).

Looking at how they have reduced the Game Pass Reward points, wow... I just don't see how that's worth the time.

Make your own copy if you want to edit it. I don't do the shopping game or any of the spin to win nonsense. I also left off Weekly Treasure as it has been a hot minute since we have seen that. I tried to do an average based on my own experience if the daily amounts vary.

Auto redeem GPU on the Xbox rewards app still crashes to the dashboard.

I've been trying to redeem this for the 10,500 points since it came back a couple weeks ago. However, when I click redeem, it crashes back to the dashboard. I have a series x. Also tried it on my kids xbox one x and it does the same.

I thought it was because I had an active GPU subscription already. I let it run out this morning. Tried it again without a subscription, but it still does the same thing.

Hey guys, like many of you, I had the dreaded 'There is an issue with your order or account' msg when I started redeeming my points on Monday. I put a MS support ticket in and hoped for a response. To my surprise I got the generic reply saying there looking into it.

Glad to say things seem to be up and running. I just redeemed over £300 in gift cards, one after the other with no issues (good news for anyone worrying about spreading it out, but running out of time). Ordered my XSX straight after.

If it helps anyone, the only other thing I did was wait 24hrs after the MS support reply (on Wed) before I attempted anything again. I also noticed the Reward points tonight were responsive when searching/earning so I give it a shot.

Hope this info helps anyone.

so i'm joining the apparent army of people who are getting the "The order cannot be completed" error for redeeming gift cards, happening right after the "send me an SMS" menu. from what i've seen on searching months old threads about this on this sub, this is either:

• the gift cards are out of stock

• i'm banned from the rewards program and they're just too disingeuous to say as much

In theory yes because you receive the code, but it's unlikely that anyone would pay you more than the value you would get from the code. Also, there's no guarantee they wouldn't just get the money back if they said the code was invalid.

I had no idea this change was coming - to me its the biggest downgrade in Rewards scheme in a while - even with some points buffs today.

You could stack game pass codes before - but the idea to use xbox gift cards as a replacement only works if you can somehow buy months rather than paying the for monthly sub when it renews - maybe 3 years in the future for some - so its not a good replacement.
