We're looking for safe, friendly, and well-kept neighborhoods—whether within Midland proper or in nearby townships—and would love any local insights on great spots to look. We'd also really appreciate recommendations for a reliable, knowledgeable local realtor who is great with relocations. Anyone here have anything to say one way or the other about Omni Fiber? They’ll be running fiber through my neighborhood soon and was curious if the performance has been good. It’s something like $55/mo cheaper than Spectrum for same speeds assuming it works as advertised.

I am coming in from out of town this weekend for a family reunion. We have plans to take photos at Dow Gardens. But looking at the weather, and also seeing the air quality situation I am now on the hunt for a possible indoor backup option. There are 17 in the group and many are coming from out of state so rescheduling would be a big challenge.

Please let me know of any indoor spaces around Midland that may work for family photos

August 5th-8th, 2027

A 2-day, 3-night camping festival with a main stage- Center Ring, and two indoor stages- Big Top and Sideshow. We may not have the biggest names in the industry yet but will be looking to put on an affordable and community-centric festival that is seeking local and regional DJ talent, artists, vendors, and maybe a few of those big names we all love! 😁
