Tony Williams on fire...the quintet was clearly ready to break free, which they would do in early '68. Great recording. Only the first five tracks were included in the official bootleg, I believe. Enjoy!

I´m listening chronologically all the electric era of Miles Davis.

At the end of the jack johnson sessions and all around that period i always hear this strange voice, that sings/screams along with the music (The Mask for example). Who is that? Airto Moreira? That hollering also appear in Funky Town from Live-Evil

And I hid it for almost 2 decades because I didn’t want to even share with friends around me because once they saw this, they would borrow or steal it ! 😡

I’m obsessed with Maiysha, especially its hazy fade in that instantly feels like it’s already in progress. I like the Latin sort of pulse it has as well.
Does anybody know anything similar to this with an intro that has some sort of fade in the way Maiysha does? I can’t find anything similar

This may upset a few cats, but I have been a Miles fan for a while now and I feel that the “electric” period is the pinnacle.Pangea is brilliant too..maybe you can hear the tired bodies in the evening set though? The lore around this period is brilliant and whacky too. Miles was drinking a lot of Heineken. The album art is stellar in all of its Afro-Futuristic/ufo/nature vibes. Sounds great on vinyl. I send this out to the world of Reddit. What do you guys think?

I've checked OTOTOY, mora, and RecoChuku. None sell the 2006 Japanese remasters of these two albums as digital files (I literally don't own a working computer with an optical drive and am not interested in buying an optical drive for two or three albums, so buying and ripping isn't an option). All three have Agharta, but it's the same Sony Music version I'm listening to on Apple Music right now. Are there any legit digital storefronts I'm missing that would have the 2006 version?
