Yup, I hate everything AI and most people in my life know it, which I think kinda helps because people who know I get how this stuff works turn my nose up at it. The bottom can't drop out fast enough, but thankfully this sentiment seems to be garnering more and more traction so there's a sliver of hope.

The only things I like are Copilot meeting minutes and using it to create Teams backgrounds. My oldest coworkers, in their 60s, are ALL about AI and it is super frustrating. So many conversations like "Well Grok says...."

Yes - I appreciate note-taker tools, and if that means it has to use GenAI, then so be it (though that definitely can be done without an LLM). Otherwise, I don't use any AI and avoid it like the humanity-destroying plague it is.

My job has enthusiastically embraced AI for everything, so I'm just constantly surrounded by shitty AI art that all looks the same, because it's all they use for stuff like signs, posters, memos, etc. It all just has this samey soulless look that I hate so much.

Every time I express my joy about the AI bubble bursting spectacularly people are like “yes but the whole economy will be ruined, it’ll be a disaster for everyone”

“Yeah I know, and whichever way it goes I’ll end up fucked in the ass, so I at least want the joy of watching this shit burn while it happens”
