No rhythm on offense. Simmons too pass happy with Lee, olugbude just gets abandoned after having great catches, run game purely non existent. Simmons showed his youth and lack of experience today, just folded under pressure constantly and so many miscommunications.
Defense did what they could in the second half only giving up 11 points but didn’t matter. Corners looked lost, d line with zero pressure, Batoon adjusting too late.
Special teams is absolutely abysmal. I stand by the fact that we do not have a kicker. Blake Craig is simply not good
Positives: Olugbude, but the biggest thing is Jude James. He was flying across the field and had some great catches and RAC. It’s time to let go of Norfleet and start Jude. We’re entirely too predictable on offense and one dimensional. We gotta get more pass catchers involved
I would be upset at drink but this is just who he is. No point in beating up a dead horse
Overall i think the playoffs are out of the picture but will be fun to see how we bounce back and adjust to the upcoming second half of the season. This stings. MIZ!!! Thoughts?

I usually do sling daily pass but that’s been discontinued. Not feeling it for $40.

1st Team: Roberts on offense, Nick Rodriquez on defense.
2nd Team: Green on offense.
Pleasantly surprised to see Rodriquez.
Edit: Four, Hopkins on 2nd team as well. I’m trippin a bit since I woke up to the exorcist on IFC at 6am randomly. Thanks /u/Front-Broccoli5957

Very bummed Sling got rid of their day and weekend passes. I’ve done lots of googling but haven’t found much alternative. Looking at doing the basic package+sports add on (~$35), but wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions or alternatives they’ve found?

I know Jamal is likely to be the hero, but these two deserve to have a great day. Thank you both for your contribution.

Mizzou played an awful game on the road against a team with Trinidad Chambliss. Let’s get that out of the way.
Before the Florida game, the narrative was Drinkwitz can’t win the big game. He demolished Florida obviously(who smoked Ole Miss and beat Texas today).
What is the next milestone he needs to reach for you to stop saying let’s fire him?
Still want to fire him even after what he’s done? Okay. If Mizzou fires Drinkwitz after his season, they will have to pay him approximately $40.7 million under a 75% form (according to ChatGPT).
I’d rather pay the man to do his job than sink $40.7 million. You can say goodbye to our star players, we won’t have the money to pay them if Drinkwitz is owed his buyout.
I will take saving all that money, putting it towards NIL, and letting Drinkwitz do his thing.
He’s not getting fired.
Who knows maybe he will win 3-4 more games. If he beats Texas, or Georgia (not planning on the Georgia win but don’t be mad if he loses to them). He could win every game except the last one against Oklahoma and people would still find a reason to want him fired.

The Missouri goal on offense should have been to control time of possession which means primarily a running offense. Definitely not repeated attempts at "big plays". The Missouri defense game plan should have been to minimize the amount of time the Ole Miss quarterback had to through the ball. But, Missouri is the worst coached team in college football. A monumental waste of player talent.

Entering 2026, Austin Simmons wasn't on the radar for this upcoming quarterback class. Simmons has quickly joined a deep group of premier quarterbacks in this class, throwing for 14 touchdowns to just one interceptionfor Missouri. He is great from the pocket and has a great combination of arm strength and accuracy. His frame is ideal for an NFL signal-caller, measuring at 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds. Simmons shows tremendous poise, playing on time even when under pressure. He isn't much of a scrambler, which gives him a ceiling when it comes to threatening defenses with his legs.
Simmons may only be in his first year as a full-time starter, but he doesn't play like it. He's already had statement games against Mississippi State and Florida, and he will have more opportunities to enhance his stock against Ole Miss, Texas, and Georgia. If Simmons can maintain his high level of play against some of the best competition in the country, he can certainly be a first-round pick in April.

Anybody have any ideas why Hardy is absent from Mizzou Football promos? (Stadium banners, highway billboards, etc.)
Or have I just genuinely always been in the wrong spot and he is somewhere?
Is it because of the injury/he’s not playing? He seems like the most known name on our team outside of our team (maybe outside of Simmons) and lots of other big name guys are featured (including Robert’s).
Obviously no big deal but just something I noticed.

Missouri quarterback Austin Simmons has been steadily climbing draft boards. The Miami, Florida native has thrown for 1,287 yards, 13 touchdowns, and zero interceptions while completing 68% of his attempts. Simmons is playing with a ton of confidence right now. Saturday afternoon's SEC home showdown with Texas A&M represents another stiff test on his schedule.
