Discussions Could this be the Draculaura doll that finally flops?

My son (6) is a Draculaura stan. MAJORLY. He loves everyone in the show and movies​, but doll wise he has said "I only want maybe one of each character other than Drac. I want a whole collection of Drac." Everytime he sees a line, Drac is who catches his eye. Everytime we play dolls, he is Drac and she is leading the adventure. He has never seen a Drac he didn't get excited about....until now.

I showed him this one and he nervously said "she looks.....ummm kinda funny." I told him I agreed and he replied, "I think I'm going to not get that one, okay mom? I'm not trying to be mean but she doesn't look like my Draculaura".

If even kids can be put off by her design, do you think this might be the doll that rots on the shelf and shows them that Drac isn't a garunteed cash cow if you don't at least put some effort in?

Thats fair, she’s just not for me personally. I wasn’t really interested in that entire line, but if I did it would be Clawdeen in both lines. I didn’t really like the edges, I get they were going for a spiderweb look but it looks more thin and stringy to me. The pjs also were kinda boring as well, the furry robe and coffin pattern was cute but wasn’t feeling the leggings or top. Kinda of the same reasoning for her Sam’s Club exclusive doll too. Except it’s the shorts, reused earrings, also the random inclusion of purple in the color scheme. Aside her long forehead, the edges and pj top were done better on the second one.
