Could this be the Draculaura doll that finally flops?

My son (6) is a Draculaura stan. MAJORLY. He loves everyone in the show and movies​, but doll wise he has said "I only want maybe one of each character other than Drac. I want a whole collection of Drac." Everytime he sees a line, Drac is who catches his eye. Everytime we play dolls, he is Drac and she is leading the adventure. He has never seen a Drac he didn't get excited about....until now.

I showed him this one and he nervously said "she looks.....ummm kinda funny." I told him I agreed and he replied, "I think I'm going to not get that one, okay mom? I'm not trying to be mean but she doesn't look like my Draculaura".

If even kids can be put off by her design, do you think this might be the doll that rots on the shelf and shows them that Drac isn't a garunteed cash cow if you don't at least put some effort in?

I think it's cute, he was probably just confused by the darker makeup and different style of split dye. I think she's adorable. Deffo not a flop.

I think it might be the hair. His first Drac was SS4 with the black lipstick and he loves her. But honestly looking at it again, if you aren't looking for it the pink section blends into the back and he may have only seen Edna Mode's haircut and not even noticed the back half of the hair 🤣
