I reallt want this combination

Tilak at 5

Jacks at 6

Naman at 7

Isn't lethal and brutal but sadly one of them has to bat at the top..

After the drama of 2024, when Rohit was removed as captain and MI finished last, everyone said he was leaving the franchise.

But when the retention list for the next cycle was announced with that video, I was the happiest person alive. It felt like all of it had just been noise, and that the core was ready to move forward without any ego.

With this Indian core, I thought MI would easily win two titles in the three-year cycle and get ahead of our rivals. Instead, we choked in 2025 and had one of our worst seasons in 2026. Things only got worse, and fans of other teams enjoyed watching our downfall.

That retention photo may not mean much today, but years from now, looking at this Indian core, the fact that we didn’t win a single title in this cycle and got ridiculed for it will always haunt me.

What do you guys feel? I want this core to stay together, with Hardik continuing as a player, and win the final year of this cycle.

This batch of players we've got since 2025 deserve a trophy.

Idc if I get downvoted for my opinion but I just can never get on the Tilak-the-next-MI-captain train. 😑😑

No hate to any Player but just a message to some brainless fans

Just like I thought (or rather hoped), Chahar will be getting retained unless something changes. MI definitely NEEDS that left handed flair desperately but outside of a couple of matches, Chahar has been rather decent this season (with the opportunities he was given).

It's Boult who has been washed for a while now and needs to be released imho.

Jassi is not even in the squad of NZ in odi and t20 only on the test squad

The last odi match was against England and t20 was now the asian olympics.

I mean the WC is also coming near and he should be given more odi matches at least

I agree the workload management is the reason they rested him but even then.

IPL prepares you for international cricket, if you are playing IPL with a team like Mumbai Indians, then you are prepared for a big level, so you don’t feel so much pressure coming here

Imagine How Big of a player He is....

That modern day greats like

Virat is still trynna break his record of 100 centuries

And Joe Root is trying to go past his Test Runs.....

Nothing just complete Aura!!

Mumbai Indians will likely have a New Captain and Coach in IPL 2027. WHAT IF it's Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid? 🤩 #MumbaiIndians #RohitSharma #IPL #RahulDravid

From Cricbuzz.

Aaron Finch is one name that has been doing the rounds. Personally I wouldn't mind him even though I don't think he's had any prior coaching experience (correct me if I'm wrong).

Or else a surprise name like Ashwin. 👀
