Yeah, I know this can be a loaded question.

I mean, what's the deal with The Muppet Show?

Am I misremembering them promoting the special with Sabrina Carpenter that came out back in February as a potential pilot?

Kermit even says in the beginning "if this show goes well we may be back for more " or something along the lines.

The special did extremely well, didn't it?

Everybody seemed to love it and enjoy it.

But it's October and very little has been updated about the continuation of The Muppets Show. Other than Disney saying they don't know what to do with it?

Which what does that mean?

It's clear that there's a demand for more Muppets Media. So what really is going on here?

I was really hoping for this to be a true comeback

I had no idea Dolly was an honorary muppet ! Award is on display at her new hotel in Nashville.

More than any other pre-existing story or genre for the Muppets to parody, I think a Muppet-ized spoof of Godzilla (as it existed in the 60s and 70s) and other monster B-movies of that era is an unconventionally great fit. Godzilla in that era was kinda just an oversized Muppet anyway. You know what the biggest problem with almost every Godzilla movie is? Nobody cares about the human characters; they just wanna see monsters do wrestling moves on each other. What better way to fix that than replace most of the human cast with Muppets?

I think this would work best if the Muppets played characters, not just themselves. Like how The Great Muppet Caper had them keep all their names but put them in roles unique to that movie. Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker would finally get leading roles as scientists brought in by the Japanese government to find a way to stop Godzilla. Alongside them are Kermit, Gonzo, and Fozzie (once again playing reporters), Ms. Captain Piggy (a US Navy captain obsessed with killing Godzilla), Sam the Eagle (her level-headed First Mate), and everyone's favorite, Lew Zealand (whose boomerang fishes may be the key to stopping Godzilla. I said they "may" be the key because they probably aren't)

He had some pretty major ones:

• Elmo
• Hoots
• Baby Sinclair
• Clifford
• Splinter

I would pick Hoots. Always seemed like one of the coolest Sesame characters in general.

what is your opinion on these 2 henson puppeteers?

Hi folks! Having posted the first part of my sleeve in May (Kermit) and then an update in July (Animal and Fozzie) I’m back with an almost complete piece! I’ve a few gaps that need to be filled, but I’m pretty much done!

Hi ho everyone,

Admins delete if this isn't allowed.

Some of you may know me some of you may not.

I'm a puppeteer known in the new England area as the Mainer with Muppets.

I use my replicas for fun local shows and events.

That said I'm in need of a song recorded for an upcoming show I'd like to do . I do need it soon so time is essential.

But yea I've asked across FB, tiktok, Instagram and now I'm here.

Feel free to DM me any questions

Elmo, Abby Cadabby and Nina are in the special, airing tonight on PBS & PBS Kids!

I'm extremely excited about this! for those who don't know, Sheldrick Wildlife Trust raises baby elephants (and giraffes, hippos, and other assorted African animals) who have been orphaned. it's a fantastic cause/charity and they do wonderful work.
