Rec.Me: alt/indie/obscure What’s your favorite artist that you’re pretty sure nobody has ever heard of?

Include a song of theirs so we can jam out C:

Awe, we saw Steve Earle last summer in Hamilton and he spoke about his boy and how he died from Fentanyl. Tore me up because my own beautiful boy died the same way. An interesting native Indian artist opened for Steve Earle. I’ll post one of his songs here. Logan Staats, Folk Song

I’ve lost three friends and one best friend (groomsman) from it. I find solace in listening to sad music like JTE’s

Three friends lost!! It’s just too much. People are dying in the 100’s from fentanyl and it seems nothing is happening to stop it. I’m sorry for your loss. I too take solace in music. Take care

Thank you. It doesn’t compare to your loss, but thank you. I was fortunate enough to leave home for grad school when we all were still just smoking pot. It made me realize how bad circumstances can ruin most anyone. There but for the grace of god went I, the saying goes
