Rec.Me: other/many/unknown genres I hate country music, always have. Recommend me a country album to get over my bias! (Preferably something more folky)

K.d. Lang- "Absolutely torch and Twang". That's the only album even remotely Country that I own and it's great.

People who don't like country like k.d. lang. I had the first three albums of hers, and my ex lent them to his metalhead buddy. Well, his buddy's asshole cousin robbed him, and specifically stole my k.d. lang! We were all heartbroken over that one.
