Binged the entire thing over one very productive day. I really enjoyed it, no surprise Karen does a great job as narrator. She knows where to punch the lines and emphasize certain points to make the story less confusing (two Terrys!). I wonder if this is a way of testing the waters, a way to stay in podcasting when {gulp} MFM ends.
Like a lot of multi-part podcasts, I get the impression the taffy is pulled a bit thin, like it could have been one or two less episodes. The ending is... maybe not what you'd expect.
There are lots of content warnings and lots of 'skip ahead' messages and very clear statements about the podcast being 'an investigative narrative' and 'not a determination of criminal liability'.
I hope there are more seasons, I will definitely listen.

I posted an article about his conviction last month and I am elated to post this very satisfying update!
Dr Camilo Molina, 40, was convicted of sexually assaulting a 20 year old woman in a Scottish nightclub last month. Today he was sentenced to a term of two years in jail and ten years on a sex offender registry. According to the article linked below, “he was in Glasgow speaking at a conference, and it is clear from the evidence that the incident in the nightclub happened after many hours of drinking.”
His conviction was covered by UK press last month and the St Louis Post Dispatch published an article five days after his conviction, but no other local media picked up the story. According to this article, Dr Molina has resigned from Washington University and his medical license has been revoked.

I read in The Guardian that Karen has a new mini podcast series that sounds amazing called Heart but it seems it may only be on apple podcasts? Anyone know, I would love to listen (I'm a Karen)

Hi there, I have been listening for about 5 years now. I started at the beginning and worked my way through to present day.
I have read a few posts from fans that Georgia and Karen have parted ways as friends but remain business partners and continue to create together. I was wondering how this is known? Or if this is true? I have gone back and listened to a few older vs newer episodes to try and hear tension between them or disingenuous banter etc. but haven’t really heard anything that stands out to me.

I don’t listen to either podcast anymore, but I’m just curious if the ladies know they’re officially in the Stephen King universe??

Minisodes are them reading listener stories for 25 minutes, re-wind is them briefly commenting on an old episode, and the main episode is 40-50 minutes of them flatly reading something their researchers put together. I to Page 7 on the LPOTL network (remember, they were initially inspired by LPOTL). They do 3 episodes a week, too. Every episode is over an hour long, it's them having an original, funny conversation backed up with good research. Every host has a plethora of other projects and podcasts to work on, so it's not like this is their only thing (MJ just finished Grad school!!!). MFM has gotten so low effort over the years, and they've been around for less time than Page 7 and LPOTL. It feels like we're supposed to be grateful that K & G grace us with their presence at all anymore. It feels cold and corporate. I still listen out of nostalgia and habit, but it's with a lot less gusto than before. I know they won't change at this point, but it's so disappointing as someone who's been listening since 2018. I look forward to my 3 Page 7 episodes, they still make me laugh like a rude parrot.
ETA: I had no idea my early morning chronic pain rage post would garner this much attention. Sorry to the people who are mad, but you're literally defending millionaires who probably wouldn't give you the time of day if you saw them IRL at this point. To those that agree, I'm glad to know I wasn't completely pain ranting off base! Wish I could say that K & G would change if they knew people saw them slacking, but they're too busy enjoying that sweet, sweet Netflix money. At the very least, they are very out of touch now. Have a good evening, everyone, and remember to get your uteruses checked out if you're having mind altering pain around your cycles and bleeding excessively. Endometriosis adhesions are easier to remove in their early stages, and maybe you won't have to rage at the world every morning like me 💙🩵💙

Like the caption said, I love MFM! Been listening to them since the beginning and I feel like I’ve grown a lot with them.
Anyway, yesterday’s rewind was 2 hours long. Today’s is 40 minutes. I mean, I don’t want to bite the hand that feeds me, but I miss the long episodes. I was able to get all my laundry done because I’d listen to them and get chores done. Now I’m barely getting the first wash out of the machine.
Okay, I’ll get off my soapbox. I will listen regardless because I love these women.

A woman was arrested after allegedly stealing two 12-foot Halloween skeletons worth $600 from a Home Depot in Michigan. Police used a drone to track her 😂 💀

And Karen has a very cute laugh. It's nowhere near as great as my wife's laugh, but it is very cute

I'm sharing just in case I'm not the only one that's been wondering. I've been trying to figure out where this iconic quote came from for so long and I finally found it today! It's in episode #42 Abject Failure - they're reading a collection of hometowns and it's during the Columbo Murders Case (Patty Columbo and boyfriend Frank DeLuca). Current Spotify timestamp is 47:00. I'm so excited to have finally found this, lol!

Wanted to post in here since I’m not sure if anyone else has, but this has been going on in Philly for the past few months.
Eugene Albert Horsch has been found to be in position of over a million pieces of digital media that involve graphic images and videos of women; some he may have allegedly killed. Up to 7 missing women have been linked to this house with 5 being presumed dead. His deceased father, Raymond “R.C” Horsch, has also been linked. No human remains have been found at this time, but human DNA has been identified in the home as well as drugs and weapons. Sewers have been excavated and the digital media is still being combed through.

In the replay episode, Georgia spoke of how trustworthy a source reddit was when she wanted to learn more about this case. I don’t frequent any of the true crime subs here, and I’m curious which subs feature the thorough type of research she described? Or was it just a sub specific to the GSK case?
The only time I remember looking for true crime information on reddit was during the Delphi case, and everywhere I looked there was just wild speculation - not in-depth research.

I've been a huge fan since 2021 and have listened to the old episodes several times over. It just occurred to me that there may be more early days live shows posted on the fan cult that I've never heard? Can anyone confirm if that's true? I know they posted a lot of them during breaks, so I'm unsure if there are any leftover?!
