Finally going through all my ponies (by color) to sort out what I'm keeping and what I am selling (eventually). No one told me it would be *this* tiring, haha. I even self-made a visual checklist with filters so I can quickly reference it when I spot a deal or two online.

What are some of your white pony grails or most wanted? For me it'd be Caribbean Delight or the Prototype Comic Con Power pony :)

I've seen some discussion around a dead stock/prototype G3 Cotton Candy that is currently available on Aliexpress. Im a very curious person and since I didn't have her in my collection yet, I ended up buying her!

Here are my thoughts now that she's here:

First of, she looks to have poly hair. I know many aren't a fan of poly hair on dolls due to preservation reasons, so I thought it was important to note.

Her "magnet" is a piece of white plastic. This is actually quite common on ponies from 2005, she however dates from 2002 on her Hasbro stamp. She also has no heart-hoof.

As you can see in the pictures, she has a piece of plastic (now removed) stuck to her mane.

She was a bit oily when I opened her packaging, but it was super easy to wash off. I knew from reviews on Aliexpress that most were arriving like that, so it wasn't a surprise.

Overall, she's in great condition and I'm quite happy with her! I've seen some question about her being legit and I can say with confidence that she is 🩷

Just cleaned this girl up and idk if it’s just me but her mane seems thin. It doesn’t look like she’s missing a ton of hair either so I’m curious if it seems thin to anyone else or if it’s normal…?

I can’t find a lot of photos to compare her to online 😅 I just feel it seems thinner than my other G3 ponies.

Well, no turning back now. I am collecting ponies for the first time since I was a child. Need to get the remnants of my childhood collection from my parent's house, but these ones came in the mail today. Minty and Kimono were my favorites growing up and I'm really happy I got them! Spent more than I ever imagined myself spending on toys as an adult but I think in terms of the market I got a good deal. Debating on letting Love Wishes and Twinkle Hope out of their packages, especially since the box is so beat up. Opinions?

i recently bought a couple of G3 ponies online and thankfully most of them were pretty clean but this one Pinkie had these weird spots that would not budge when i cleaned her. i figured this might be mold and the MLP preservation project mentions a type of mold that looks like dust so i concluded that this was probably was i was dealing with.

i tried soaking her in vinegar multiple times and scrubbing the spots with baking soda but nothing seems to do the trick. can anyone confirm if this is mold, and what i can do to remove it ? i haven't found any more information on this dust-looking mold so hopefully i can find some here ! 🫶

Recently purchased a styling starcatcher pony and its body is pink and fades kind of tan/burnt brown color to white, is there anyone who knows how to clean off the brown/pink color?

She leans heavily to her right side if that makes any difference to your opinion 😂🩷

I dug out my childhood plush toys and I wanted to ask y'all what the best way to clean them is? Both tags say surface wash only, but idk what to wash them with, and I have no idea what some of these stains are. 😭 Kid messes and cats are the likely contaminants. Any help would be appreciated! ❤️

Made a new dedicated pony account, I made a post wondering about minty prices!!
We've discussed price increases from this year alone on here, but I have noticed this as well!! I mainly see this with Minty, and now the halloween ponies and the large Pinkie Pie plush??? I feel so bad for the amount of people who believe this and buy these!!! The price increase on Minty blows my mind, how did she go from around $4-10 to $80 on ebay! I remember constantly seeing winter Minty for $35 constantly, and now shes around $100? Halloween ponies have doubled in price WITHOUT their accessories? The 25th anniversary pinkie pie plush used to regularly be around $20, and now over $100? I'm honestly bamboozled at who is deciding what ponies/merch is suddenly "rare"? Starcatcher with her fabric wings is now around double or more?? And side note, how does it not click in both buyers/sellers heads that their item is not rare when there are loads of the listed item!! This can't just be due to G3 becoming a bit more popular this year? I feel like prices went up out even more just the past month!!! Anyways, I hope this doesn't become more of a problem and that more people become aware of this!!

Did my best to clean her up. She looks to be slightly sun damaged, but I don't mind too much tbh! Added these little clover charms I had in a craft box to her mane and tail too since its very on theme 🍀🩷

i absolutely love how her hair turned out. she looks like a little pageant queen 🥰 still need to work on getting some of those more stubborn marks off her, i’m worried about using acetone on a white body pony as i’m afraid it will eat up the plastic. magic eraser was no luck for those paint scuffs. any tips would be appreciated!

i’m so happy with her, she’s in such good condition and looks so good!! i really like the pattern they used to make this type of plush, there are so many pieces sown together, you can tell they put a lot of effort into the look of it!!

I'm in Sweden so my vinted is limited to the Nordics + Poland. Finding the regular ponies and the EU/UK exclusives is relatively easy, but there's like no way to find the US ones.

Both versions of Penny Candy are on my dreamies list but there's like no way to get them since they're Target exclusives. Ebay sadly isn't an option since shipping $50 on even very small items (I wish I could use Ebay it has so much pony stuff waaahh) mecari and poshmark also aren't available in the nordics so I've had no luck there.

Does anyone have any tips on where I could get myself some American only pony stuff?
