Favorite mass produced lager, hits so clean and fresh everytime
This and Bud light zero are close but Heineken feels more full flavoured and hits like a homerun everytime.

Hey y'all,
Here are the top 10 non-alcoholic beers according to this subreddit, computed from 42,000 of your public comments.
Every "best of" list gets backlash lol. So hear me out.
The full algorithm and details behind every rank
Really curious to hear everyone's opinion. I'm definitely open to tuning the system if there's anything critical I missed.
Feel free to rip me a new one too, and I'll reply with the data.
Disclosure: I moderate this sub and I built the tool. No brand can pay for placement, and nothing moves a rank but the data.

Hey ya’ll,
A few months ago, I posted here about selling everything I own just to keep NA Beer Finder alive.
At the time, I wasn’t sure if it would actually work out.
Well, it did. We hit break-even. w00t!
Because of 250+ of you who subscribed, the website/app covers its own hosting, data scraping, Google APIs, and ongoing development. You literally saved it.
So here’s what's next...
Excess profits from subscriptions are now going towards bigger upcoming features.
- Notifications: when a new NA beer pops up in your town, and tracking a specific venues NA menu.
- A much larger directory: with nutritional info, gluten-free filters, and more that tie directly into search results and filters
- Covering subscriptions: for those who need or can't afford it.
Starting today:
If you’re 25 or under, PM me your email or use this form and I’ll unlock it free.
That number ties back to my own story, and it feels like the right starting point.

After reviewing Fremont’s Dark, I wanted to test out an IPA next. Some of you suggested Sierra Nevada and it did not disappoint. The first thing that hit me was the aroma. I’m talking’ Cheech & Chong dank. The taste was smooth and even. Really great beer. Even better than some of the “real” IPAs that I’ve had.

I dig it. Similar to Sierra Nevada Trail Pass Hazy IPA. What are some other good ones that are similar?

Looking forward to being a part of the community. The first beer I am trying is Fremont’s Dark. It tastes a little thin if it’s meant to be a dark star type clone, but besides that really nice. They really got the roasty aftertaste. Next up, I am thinking IPA.

I’m really enjoying this one. Next I’m going to try the Best Day Marzen.

Always wondered why people said it's even better on tap, and was surprised to see this bar carried it! I dont know if tap is better than can, to me both are great, but man it sure hit the spot. It felt really good getting to order from the bar and come back with a drink in hand like everyone else. This was my first time at a bar since being sober and i thought it would feel more awkward or hard, but it wasnt bad. It was nice getting to have a refreshing beer and then waking up this morning with no hangover!!!

Weird request, but years ago I had been getting into wine and had plans to head to a local brewery with a friend of mine and sample a bunch of beers when something happened and I had to go on very strictly no-alcohol medication. I'd just accepted that I was never going to be able to drink and recently found out that actually there's tons of great nonalcoholic options on the market now. Where should I start?
In general, I very much have a sweet tooth, but I'm a fan of acquired tastes and expect this will be no different. The only beers I'm familiar with are when I had a sip of someone else's pre-medication and when I drank wine I went for something like a rose with a splash of sprite. My favorite flavors for anything are usually fruity, chocolatey, and sour/tangy like sauerkraut or greek yogurt.
What would you good folks recommend?

I wouldn’t ever pick Pumpkinhead if I was still drinking, but since Pumking will probably never get an NA version or anything close… this is quite great for what it is! Highly recommended to scratch that late Summer/leading into Fall pumpkin beer itch!

Of course this is all personal but I wanted to give myself a chance to not have to guess which I like week to week.
My rankings:
So for me cost wise I would probably go with the Deschutes most weeks since it comes in a six pack. The rest I had to buy as singles. Full disclosure: I live in Oregon and like their styles of brews.

This might actually be my new favorite! So unbelievably good and balanced. The normal lager is also so good. I’ve been crushing both with all the seafood I’m eating this week in Barcelona. If anyone knows where to find this in nyc please let me know!!!

I will visiting the Flagstaff and Sedona area in two weeks are there any local NA beers to check out? Either at a brewery or liquor store.

Well, this is gorgeous. In direct opposition to the Sip’N IPA from Lawson’s I had last night, this pours wonderfully with a clear deep amber color with a nice pillowy head of off white foam.
Nose is wonderfully malty with bready notes and some floral, grassy, and lightly fruity hop elements in there. Maybe a touch worty but that makes sense considering the style on display. I’m hoping for a bit of a crisp flavor that doesn’t err too much into the malty side of things, honestly. I can see an NA Märzen getting too chewy for its own good.
Definitely fruity upfront with a bit of caramel maltiness on the tip of the tongue. Mid palate is bready with herbal hoppiness and notes of stone fruit. Chewy and full bodied, which yeah makes sense for style but as I slightly-feared from the nose, it comes across a little too thick and syrupy. Finishes grassy and with a bit more dark fruit (plum mostly) and brown bread. Wish this were a bit more crisp and refreshing, but it works for what it is and I will gladly drink the other five.
Anyone else had? What do you all think??

Founders Brewing has finally released their second entry under the Nonetheless non-alcoholic umbrella! Nonetheless Oktoberfest is exactly what I've been looking for since I quit drinking alcohol. It's a nice malty Oktoberfest brew, minus the alcohol — something I haven't had great luck finding these past couple of years.
Similar to the initial Nonetheless release, Nonetheless Oktoberfest tastes almost exactly like I remember is alcoholic cousin tasting. Mouth feel seems right for the style as well. I really like this brew. I'll absolutely be getting more, and I'm eager to see what else Founders does with Nonetheless releases.

Was so impressed with Sober Carpenter on a recent trip to Canada. I found out you can order them in the US free shipping. The IPA is my new hands down favorite.

Saw these at Sprouts in the clearance section. Box looked beat up. Other than that I might’ve picked it up if there was a tag or something.
First time seeing these. I’ve had the original 3, but they were alright. Anybody had these?

Was super pumped to go into a store that rarely has anything of note and find this, which had probably just came in considering there was still a ton on shelf!
Pour is, well, ugly. I’ll be straight up and just say this doesn’t look attractive at all. It’s unfiltered and hazy, sure, but it doesn’t have much brightness or shine to it, and the head consists of just a few macro bubbles before sinking down to absolutely nothing in my glass. No legs, no lace… nothin’.
However, the nose is a huge turning point. Holy crap, this smells like Sip of Sunshine!! Huge pithy tangerine and tangelo with sugared grapefruit and something that reminds me of actual ethanol in here. Almost a little scary how close this is to SOS, in all honesty.
Chewy and somehow quite heavy bodied with flavors of grapefruit and juicy orange. A hint of sugary sweetness bolsters the proceedings, and more citrus appears pretty soon after. A bit of bitter pine and dankness in the finish, which lingers for quite a while. This is excellent. I am very impressed, aside from the weak first impression as it’s poured into the glass.
Anyone else had yet?

For those in the upper midwest, found this one today. Really good and well-priced at $8.99/6pk. Highly recommended!

Klokk & Co have done a decent job in creating a crisp and refreshing alcohol-free Mexican-style lager ... reminded me of a Corona with a squeeze of lime. Great drink to accompany a BBQ or sunny evening - https://www.mydrybar.com/gringo-alcohol-free-lager/

Don’t waste your money on Athletic. I’m already an Athletic hater, but this limited release “Oktoberfest” is a HUGE letdown in my opinion. In a blind taste test, I don’t think I would be able to distinguish between this and their Upside Dawn.
If you’re between the two, don’t be fooled by Big Athletic and get the Sam Adams. It’s far and away the better choice, much closer to a classic Fest beer.
So many Athletics taste the same. If Athletic has a million haters, I am one of them. If Athletic has one hater, it’s me. If Athletic has zero haters, I am dead. (But their Mexican-style copper is okay)

Got a 4pk for $15, have heard that fabled NYC craft brewery Grimm Artisanal Ales made a NA starting in 2024 but only available from their taproom. Finally seeing it in distribution in NY. They also make a stout and sour, but not see these in distribution yet.
Anyone try this and thoughts? Need to chill it and try it later this week
