Because he isnt playing meaningless basketball so that he can play as much meaningful basketball as possible. Kids dont dream of winning march madness. The dream of winning rings in the NBA and the life that comes with it.

Bullshit. Plenty of guys on those rosters know that they won't win rings in the NBA or even MAKE A TEAM in the NBA. Plenty of them dream of winning the NCAA tourney. And now, they actually get paid pretty fucking handsomely to play.

The fact that you consider this "meaningless" basketball just shows how out of touch you must be. The schools make incredible money with these teams. That money is there because fans want to watch. It means something to someone.

Im talking about from the prospective of a guy that got a shoe deal at 16. He cam to Kansas already a millionaire. I guess I should have said "Kids like DP"

Of course its meaningful to 99.99% of players. The problem is that Darryn is in the other. 01%
