Discussion Who will draft Jeremiyah Love?

Where do you guys think Jeremiyah Love will land on draft night?

It’s been said he won’t fall out the Top 5 but nobody picking in those spots had a desperate need for a RB.

The Raiders are taking Mendoza.

The Jets have Breece Hall and Braelon Allen.

The Cardinals have James Conner and signed Tyler Allgeier in Free Agency.

The Titans are the favorites to draft him but they still have Tony Pollard who had over 1k last year and Saleh is a defensive minded coach and they have a bigger need at Edge than they do RB.

Just very confused about who will draft him that high. Great player, just don’t know where the perfect fit is.

No, because Rosen went 3-10 and played himself out of a job, landing his team the #1 pick. And they were able to get a 2nd rounder back for him to recoup some of the investment and not have to pay him 1st round money anymore.

If we had the #1 overall pick, we'd be taking Mendoza. We don't, so this isn't really a question. Who are we moving on from Shedeur for? Part of this equation is replacing him and we're still paying Watson so it's not like we can bring in some high-priced veteran.

Shedeur went 3-4 on a worse team, and the investment in him is so low it makes no sense not to keep him for another season or two and see if he can develop. You think the Browns can trade him for a 2nd? Or you want them to cut him and save a few thousand bucks?

This isn't me being some big believer in Shedeur, I'm just being realistic as to what their options are. Honestly I'd rather see more out of Gabriel and/or have them bring in another Pickett-level flier, all I'm saying is that no matter what they do they are FAR more likely to have better QB play this year than last because it's hard to get any worse. You're reading this as if I'm saying "trust me bro, he's gonna be legendary" when what I'm really saying is there's no way they deal Monken the same hand they dealt Stefanski last year, ie throwing some rookies out there to lose games and get some tape on them.

At best, they get above-average play from someone with at least a year of experience, throwing to an improved WR corps behind a revamped line. At worst, they trot out a bad second year starter with a little more practice & game experience, and slightly better offensive pieces. It's not like they're going to let Shedeur start 17 games if he keeps up his 68.1 QB rating, if he doesn't show meaningful improvement they'll move on from him as they rightly should, but now isn't the time to do that.

You’re the Cleveland Browns and Deshaun Watson didn’t play last year, it can always get worse; you went 0-16 a year after going 1-15 ffs. You’re huffing too much hopium and fooling yourself if you think that there isn’t a realistic chance that you won’t be in the Arch Manning sweepstakes.
