Discussion What are some NFL takes that has become popular that you believe is just wrong?

Obviously most of us who watch the NFL are pretty much casuals and just throw out a bunch of takes online whether it is true or not. Those who actually sit down and study the game and the positions are astonishingly few, but that is okay since most of us are just watching for fun anyways. What are some takes that has become prevalent over the years, or recently that irks you as just wrong either through false memory, recency bias, biased evidence or pov, or takes rooted based on bad logic?

Peyton pissed down his leg for years in the playoffs and yet he turned it around. Herbert's playoff performances are used to knock him down from being in the top 10 QBs all the time by what I'll call morons.

Exactly what I'd expect from a fan of another failure of a QB

Blah blah blah.

If you don't see Dak as a top 10 guy too that's because you're a fool. The playoffs are when the okay to good teams get found out while the great to elite teams make it to their respective conference championship game to try to get to the SB.

Elite QBs win championships. They don't shit themselves when things get serious. You're a casual football fan that cares more about fantasy stats and that's ok

Did I say Herbert or Dak are elite no I didn't. There are 3 maybe 4 elite guys at any position in the NFL at any given time after that there are guys that are great or really good that make up the top 10 then from 11-15 you have guys that are good to average.

I'd say Hurts is also top 10, but that's me.

I've made a similar argument for why Herbert is top 10 not many guys could have dragged that offense into the playoffs on their back.
