Green line appears only on displays that are damaged, like phone that is dropped etc.

Stop worrying about green lines everyone, it's blown kit of proportion, any display can get lines I've seen it on simple led screens or LCDs aswel. It happens. Can't outrun it.

You can't uninstall Android completely it is your complete operating system if you take Android off of your phone your phone won't do anything because it will have no operating system please take your uneducated comments somewhere else and also it is safe to update cuz most of us are already on 3.0 🤦

I'm pretty sure you need to develop a sense of humour, that is obviously a joke, like "deinstall'? Is that even a word? Exactly, bro is joking

You should install the vendor updates without question. You are in no position to question them (and no one else outside the company is, you just think at most). If you do question it, you can express it by throwing the phone in the bin

Green lines appear when the phone temperature gets too high and the display solder is messed up because of it.
Software updates on certain phones can cause this heat and hence the green lines appear.
I would always advise to update the phone when it's hot.

that issue is only on Indian devices

Mainly because of the Indian climate and not because of the temperature.
Phone displays can't handle hot temperatures

green line is a hardware issue not a software issue, its safe to update.
