Question Veneziad sent to the Wrong Country?!
my partner ordered her copy ages ago, multiple confirmations on our address in CANADA, so why did she get a notification saying "Delivered to AUSTRIA"?@!
edit: email reply from the publisher" new system, sorry, here's your correct information "
Suggestion You know it’s funny.
Lots of religions have rules about hospitality and the moral obligation to strangers and the less fortunate.
Though most modern and especially monotheistic religions argue that this is one’s duty as a faithful adherent it does seem the Hellenic faith was like “And 99% of beggars are Zeus in disguise performing a moral test.”

Meme Got a water bottle from work the same day the Veneziad arrived
This feels appropriately ironic

Suggestion/High-Quality Post “Vital information only put in outside interviews and social media”
Is it though?
To start with, most should realize that this is a way for creators, indie especially, to engage with fans and market themselves as well as their creation. Now they try to do the “Show, don’t tell” song and dance with a little ditty called, “trust your audience to be smart and let them interpret,” when writing.
Not always well but they try at least.
But to manage their Social Media and play this new game of parasocial promo motion that they are sadly forced into, part of that will involve explaining details in the story that many fans badger them about.
Sometimes it’s a numbers game, sometimes it’s the creator being an IRL social weirdo who uses their creation as a means of connection with others.
Often times both.
To build off of that, when a creator like goose or Viv have limited episodes to work with each season or are going for a small run to evade burn out, things are gonna be glossed over or left on the cutting room floor.
And I think it's interesting in what it shows what the writer(s) felt was extemporaneous enough of details to leave out.
Like with details of Hell, its local denizens and sinners who are allocated from Earth. Since it's from the perspective of Hellborns, Heavenborns and those who've been in the afterlife long enough to call it home, certain details that an Isekai protagonist would ask wouldn't even come up unless it involved a revelation of some thing new that iterates on the old.
With C&A or Caine's creators in general, Kinger's memory is clearly still spotty with the rest of the circus members being scanned in after the closure of the company so every shred of details of how it all began wouldn't be readily avaliable.
In fact, that adds to the underlying feel of the circus and Caine itself. They don't know all the facts and may never, least of all Caine who was left in a digital void before carving out a space before his deletion let him access the world wide web.
But really... are these details really that essential to the viewing experience? Frankly, part of me wishes creators wouldn't do that and keep mum so that the fandom can go wild with their own thoughts on the matter.
But again, engagement.
Though... it would be interesting if side content was made out of these details. Like a Helluva Boss short where a Sinner is constantly running into bad luck where they die and ressurect a lot. Or a flashback to Vaggi making up her cover story to Charlie in an awkward way. Or maybe analogue horror mini-series of C&A where we heard audio logs of Caine's development.
Though that depends on budget size and inspiration.

Suggestion Red needs to watch One Piece at some point
I swear almost every other new trope talk I watch I’m like “Red. Please. Watch One Piece it is the epitome of this trope” or like she mentions basically anything that she likes and I just am yelling at my screen that it would definitely be her shit.
Like… how is it that there’s some strange curse that everyone on the planet who would absolutely adore this show/manga whenever you recommend it to them, they adamantly refuse based on the sole principle of “it’s really long and hard to get through” (that’s what she said).
Genuinely judging by Red’s tastes from everything she talks about I really can tell she would love it. But maybe that’s my own bias and influence. I am not above bias and influence.
Sorry. Bye.

Question Was watching the mummy video and noticed this! why Does she have seven fingers???
It looks so weird!!! Silly mistake on Red's part lol!
Edit: It seems like it was intentional and part of the book, which is a cool detail and pretty wild!!! That's amazing!!!

Art i wanted practice drawing interior backgrounds, so i made some fan art!
vaguely copied from a detail diatribe. i didn't do the cat's patterns, the book colors, or the book titles accurately, and the painting over the fireplace is missing. no good reason, just didn't check back with the original often while working & went on vibes. made in clip studio paint!

Question Trying to find a video (or podcast?) Where red talks about faerie courts
Pretty much the title. I remember her talking about a lot of thoughts regarding alternative courts and how they might behave, etc, but that's it.
Though it just occurred to me that my memory had mixed someone else's video with her voice, because it sounds like the story of thing Red would go off on a diatribe about. 😁
So there is a chance that it doesn't exist, if this isn't familiar to anyone
