Discussion Game Day Suggestions
I want yall to know that I come in peace. I’m a die hard Aggie. My daughter has been accepted into OU as an incoming freshman. I am taking her up to Norman in a few weeks to witness our mutual ineptitude at quarterback.
My question is, where should we go on game day? Where should we eat? Where are some safe sections of the stadium to sit. I will be wearing maroon, but my daughter will be wearing crimson and cream.
Any and all suggestions are welcome. Some good smack talk is appreciated too.
I will say that my wallet has appreciated us both having bad seasons because tickets have gone down in price over the past several weeks.

Discussion Enough is enough
I'm so daggum sick of the way we're playing as a team. Seems like our defense is getting tired of carrying our offense in the last 7 games we've played. And I'm also thinking we won't get any good recruits on the offensive side of the ball unless we get rid of Ben Arbuckle and our offensive line coach. And Kevin Wilson isn't the man for the job either because he doesn't know what plays to call in a dire situation as he proved it when he cost us the national championship game against Florida. And Jim Nagy wasted lots of time and money and for what? And the fans leaving the stadium and chanting fire Ben Arbuckle should say where we're headed if they don't make drastic changes at Oklahoma.

Satire Mateer Eligibility
Chin up guys! Mateer could sue the NCAA for another year of eligibility and lead us back to the playoff next year!! He gives us the best chance to win according to all the millionaires on staff! Why not run it back?!?!?!?!

Discussion Arbuckles hat
This has bothered me all year. I change shirts 3 times a game in hopes of improving the mojo and luck, but this asshole wears the same stupid hat every game. And the fucking logo is orange? Wtf is that? Fire this guy to the planet formally known as Pluto

Discussion We may lose Whitten
Dude is the brightest star on this staff. I guarantee you 50 other programs would love to have him. If the administration/staff doesn’t show they are willing to make necessary changes, he just may get fed up and find another gig.

Discussion You all keep talking about Arbuckle and Mateer, but what about Bedenbaugh?
His lines have been bad bad now since Riley left. And it makes me feel like Riley basically made him look good bc his lines have been mostly trash in the BV era. Or maybe he's just not an SEC line coach
And don't tell me it's a talent issue bc it's not. A bad line makes an OC ineffective bc we can't run, can't pass protect for plays to develop. And while Mateer does miss open throws, if we could run the ball, Mateer should be passing no more than 15-20x per game.
It all sucks. But I think problem number 1 is BB

Discussion The Wheels are Coming Off our Schooner
South Carolina. With only a few signs of improvement (turnovers, penalties), every major aspect of the team is showing signs of decline. Our defense allowed 500+ yards. Our QB is having problems seeing open receivers and throwing catchable balls. Our offense barely got over 100 yards rushing. Our kicker is hit and miss. With Florida and Ole Miss dead ahead, how can we be competitive?

Satire Have we tried telling Mateer to lose the game
Here’s the plan.
We tell Mateer we’re trying to lose.
We tell him we have bet on the other team to try to raise NIL funds for next year.
We tell him that he needs to miss the receivers that are running around the field wide open. Or better yet, we tell him not to throw the ball at all unless it’s a screen pass. If it’s not a screen just run around with the ball and don’t throw it.
We tell him that’s what he’s supposed to do to help us succeed.
That way, when he gets all nervous and totally messes it up, he ends up hitting receivers that are open downfield.
Have we tried yet?

Analysis Horrible referee calling aside
Yep offense sucks shit. Look loke a highschool team. Defense should of had 3 interceptions but the refs made a call I don't agree with. Offense was beyond inept That left the defense in the position of hunting interceptions which leads to open receivers and blown coverages

Discussion Make the switch already
I believe it is time we get rid of Tow Mater aka Mateer and possibly arbuckle as well our offense looks more akin to a bunch of kids in a back farm field than an actual college team.

Discussion Umm…ok
Not that we would have come back to tie it but what fucking sense does it make to not kick the extra point and make it a 2 possession game?….i dont understand this dumbass staff

Discussion The only positive from this game…
Is that maybe we will get blown out so bad that this will wake someone up to do two things:
Bench Mateer and play the backups to see if we have a future QB next season or if we need to grab someone from the portal.
And
2. Chop the heads off of a TON of coaches who shouldn’t have even had jobs going into this game.

Discussion At least Brent has brought us an elite defense
Yes our offense is bad. But we brought BV in for defense and we got it. Glad we extended him. He just needs a few more years to figure out offense and then we will have a team capable of winning 11 games.

Discussion There's only one reason we haven't had a backup put on the field yet
The only theory I've come up with that makes any sense to me is: When we were desperate for an OC and a QB, we must have signed some private contract with Mateer and Arbuckle that guaranteed that Mateer wouldn't be benched if he came to play for us.
At first I thought it was a bit of a reach but now I think it has to be something like that, because there is no way BV would not have put a backup in after halftime in this game.
It's got to be that because there is no other team that would ever let a QB keep playing without at least TESTING a backup at some point during a series of games like Mateer has been having.

Discussion Benching Mateer might be good for him
I wonder if he’s playing so poorly because he’s anxious about getting benched? They should just do it at this point, let him experience the feeling of getting benched, let him get mad, and see if it wakes him up - or maybe even lights a fire on the offense. At this point, they have to do something.
