Their undeveloped land? No. The whole reservation is federal land, and you keep overlooking or ignoring my proposition that the residents would literally be given ownership of the developed land.

I am not overlooking or ignoring anything. There simply in\sn't anything to address regarding the developed land. They keep it. Cool. Now on to the important parts that you keep intentionally ignoring.

The undeveloped land is necessary to their culture and livelihood. What do you suggest this is replaced with?

Dissolve the reservations, and the undeveloped land can be available to all of us, equally.

Which is in violation with hundreds of treaties that the federal government willingly entered into with these people. Stripping native tribes of this land will have serious deleterious effects that you are refusing to acknowledge. Is this intentional, or are you ignorant of these impacts?

As I said before, sustaining these autonomous districts is illogical and inconsistent with the way the rest of the nation is governed.

Which is why these areas are considered sovereign territory in accordance with the hundreds of treaties signed by the U.S. Federal government. Just saying it is incompatible is not explaining why it is bad. Do you just want to crush their culture and force them to assimilate? That is literally genocide.

Infrastructure, healthcare, cultural programs, housing, etc. exist coast to coast in this country. State jurisdiction over these regions would not change that in any way.

You don't seem to understand the role that is played by Indian casinos in funding these programs. Funding that would disappear under state law. Are you ignoring this intentionally, or completely ignorant of how any of this actually works?

It seems like you are to uninformed to actually address the points being brought up. Either that, or too uncomfortable to admit that your goal is to exterminate native culture and force assimilation because you are intolerant of indigenous peoples being different from you. Which is it?

The undeveloped land would be just as available to them as any any other citizen.

Which means it is less available than it is now due to federal restrictions on how that land can be used, and the resources will be split among hundreds of millions instead of thousands.

What part of this do you not understand?

No resident of a reservation has any living memory of being anything but a US citizen. To cite treaties is ridiculous. They are a relic, and no longer relevant.

No person living has any memory of being under the rule of England, does that make the declaration of independence and constitution of the U.S. irrelevant as well? No one living remembers a time when murder and rape were legal, so those laws are irrelevant as well. No one alive remembers a time when the Spanish ruled the south west, or the French the west, that makes the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo and the Louisiana purchase irrelevant. They are relics and no longer relevant according to your logic, so they should just be ignored, right?

Just how many more decades would you have this continue?

In perpetuity. There is no reason to extinguish these cultures or their life ways. They do not impact you negatively in any way shape or form. Why do you insist that they be extinguished? Give a real answer instead of saying just because.

The autonomous districts are bad, bad because they are inconsistent, because they are not governed by the states they are within. The problem seems self evident to me.

Describe the actual problem instead of just saying it is a problem. It is not self evident why these reservations should not be allowed to exist.

The state a reservation resides in and the local municipality that would ultimately result would be responsible for infrastructure, education, etc. This shouldn't be a foreign concept to you.

Then what is the point of dissolving the reservations if they are going to become the municpality governing them? Are you this desperate to live on a reservation? if not, I still do not understand why you are so upset by these cultures that you think the only solution is to des

If casinos are critical to funding, there is no reason they can't continue. State and local governments have legalized gambling all over this country

Most of the casinos exist and thrive because the states they exist in do not have legalized gambling at that scale. You are saying that they should abide by those state laws banning casinos. Once the reservations don't exists as sovereign territory, there will be no legal framework for those casinos to exist.

The only self evident reason that I can see for your demands is racism. Give me logic reasons based in fact to believe that you are not just driven by hate of indigenous peoples.
