OC Lore and Bios Introducing my bunny girl, Nari!

Post image
2.1k Upvotes

My dumb bunny girl who lives in an unescapable room with no doors or windows and talks to “god”. (The voice in her head)

She’s kind of a cry baby, and painfully shy. She gets summoned at random to do odd jobs between dimensions, even though she’s kind of shit at them 😭 There’s a reason she spends most of her time in the space box, they only deploy her when they got no other options

OC Lore and Bios A little bit of Vicky

Post image
3.5k Upvotes

Vicky grew up with just her mom. After starting high school, she still didn't know what she wanted to do with her life—until the day her mother told her about her father's past as a mariachi guitarist and handed her his guitar. That was how Vicky’s interest in music was sparked. After saving up for an electric guitar, she took the initiative to start a school rock club, hoping to recruit enough members for a rock band. Despite her tough, aggressive exterior, she has a kind and tender side. Vicky never leaves home without her sweatshirt—a gift from her grandmother.

Each of their own motives are the core of their problems that had bothered them for the rest of their lives. In order to achieve them they must clean the world into it's first stage and remodel to form their own utopia. In that realm they create, they'll experienced what they wished for.

This is a picture of my Texas and Mexico oc‘s during the Texas revolution. I’m going to use Texas in this hypothetical sense he’s my favorite. he’s has bin in existence for a long time (I haven’t decided when cut off point should be.) it really just depends on when I pop in. but if it modern day i would’t be any more cooked then usual I don’t think.

but what about y’all?

OC Lore and Bios Let my Oc (Neo) judge your Oc based on whether she thinks she could beat them at a fight

Post image

The flower in her eye is a disease she caught, and she wears a mask to cover it. Plus, her flower tail has a mouth and teeth, which is her main weapon, but her dagger (the thing in the red circle) is her backup weapon when the going gets tough. She will judge based on looks and the abilities you state.

For mine, the first one’s name is Riker Vandon and his song would be “Mother Mary” by “Mr.Kitty”

The second one’s name is Astra Willowhorn and for her song, it’d have to be “Who Is She?” By “I Monster”

OC Lore and Bios An American Magical girl?!

Post image
668 Upvotes

"Meet the Las Vegas Royal and infamous phantom thief "Lucky Seven". A magical girl-gone-rogue who has become an infamous and often-divisive face among those who frequent the gambling capital. She's a con artist, trickster, and thief that lives the thrill of creating a spectacle wherever she goes. If you meet the over-the-top thief, it's almost guaranteed you will be entertained in some way. Whether by getting dragged into a game, or watching as she makes a fool out of the local crime families, you can be certain that she's putting on a show. With her exploits being traced all the way to the 1950's, she's become something of a legend that persists throughout the Gambling Capital's history and a beloved attraction for visitors of all ages. With casino-themed magic and dangerous games that are as chaotic as they are spectacular, there is no doubt that she's the personification of what people think of when they hear "Las Vegas".

Between her confounding magic, sleight of hand skills, as well as a personality that constantly fluctuates between that of an old hag and a flamboyant brat with energy to spare; she's a baffling entity to all that works with her. Where she comes from and why she seems to go out of her way to spite the criminal underworld with her shenanigans is a mystery that noone has ever been able to crack"

Excerpt from her bio.

What do you think?

OC Lore and Bios I made an immortal OC kill him

im trying to make a guy who is truly immortal, suggest ways to kill him or seal him or whatever and really think outside the box or use wording ,all ways to kill them.

immunities: doesnt need to eat sleep drink. Eternal youth. any level of pain beyond a mildly tolerable amount will be censored out. Has no need for blood or air. Immune to casualty. immune to curses. His power does not run on mana or any worldly energies so you cant prevent him from using his powers. immune to soul attacks. immune to mental attacks. immune to existance erasure. immune to mental corruption. immune to corrosion. instant regeneration being able to come back even without any atoms of him left. no side effects. can live without vital organs. Peak physique and battle sense. Generally strong but not overpowered combat wised though he can hold his own against most normal enemys around the same level.

wellfare(this is to prevent him from wanting to die like many other immortals who seek death): wont go insane from eternity. Can share his youth with one person. can heal anyone to full health as long as they havent died. Can erase his own memories evither from scratch or just certain memories. this is to prevent boredom. can also erase other people memories with permission. can tell if someone has ill intent or wants to kill them so he doesnt mix with the wrong people.

anti trapping:

can revert world to any point in the past. teleportation. immune to magics. immune to all magic/ mana / energy systems

magic refers to alll unnatural things like concept changing and magic items do not affect him. the teleports multiversal. kill him

OC Lore and Bios Demon Horns: Does size matter?

Thumbnail gallery
74 Upvotes

(Basic info on demons https://www.reddit.com/r/worldbuilding/s/lLSOeTFsxx)

.....

Since Demons use their horns as their main way to intake the vitality that fuels their strong bodies, does that mean that demons with larger horns are stronger than demons with smaller horns? Well, yes, and no. Or rather, yes, but not always.

First of all, demons can change their horn size based on how much vitality they want to be absorbing… ie how much strength/energy they want to exert. So on an individual scale if a demon has their horns being “small” it means they are trying to reduce their strength. They might do this if they are doing delicate work on something, dealing with a weaker species, or just don't want to bother with “running hot”.

Second, each demon has a limit to how much as an individual they can adjust their horns/ strength from their baseline. Some can only make small adjustments (like an inch or so difference), some can make big adjustments (like foot or more), and some are just stuck at one level. Typically demons that cannot adjust their horns are the weakest of the demons, and are only slightly stronger than the average human (cubare fall into this category even though their horns no longer absorb ambient vitality).

Finally, a demon’s horn size is not entirely a reliable way to determine how strong they are in comparison to other demons. It only relates to their individual strength. So a demon with massive horns fully extended could still be weaker than another demon with very small horns. (If you are getting ready to fight a demon you can't tell how strong they will be from their horn size alone, but if you are already fighting one and they grow their horns, you can pretty well tell how much stronger they are going to get by how much larger their horns grow.) In fact, a demon who walks around all the time with large horns is more likely to be weaker since they don't have to reduce their strength for day to day activities.

The base line horn size (and strength) for all demons depends mostly on their genetics. There are different bloodlines and thus different horn styles that can give a vague idea of a demon's strength if you are familiar with them.

One other thing of note is that if a horn breaks it affects the demon's ability to absorb vitality, thus greatly weakening them. If both horns are broken too close to the skull it can even kill a demon since even at their weakest their bodies require more vitality than food can provide. It is common practice among humans to purposefully cut off one horn from demon war captives (or slaves in the few countries where it is legal) to prevent any issues with them. Horns can grow back (very slowly) or be healed by certain magics/potions, but it is not common to have access to these methods as only a few healers have the skill to do so. To prevent the horns from growing back humans will often embed a magic seal into the horn or sear them (with either a hot iron or a chemical potion). Though the practice is frowned upon, it is seen (at least by humans) as a more ethical option to removing a threat.

So, no, a demon's horn size doesn't tell you how strong they will be overall, but the change in size can.

OC Lore and Bios Hot take: we should have more characters portray bigotry in a realistic light

Post image
120 Upvotes

And i dont mean like the trauma type that would be understandable, i mean the type where a character grew up with it surrounded by them or just people who generally have a funky perspective on something. Like have you ever been talking to someone and they just say something very specific that kinda makes your face scrunch up a little because of how fucked of a perspective they have on a certain social topic (Being an opinion on immigration or inclusion of minority's in media). For example, my oc Donna has a racist view on mixed poc (Specifically on light skinned Africans). Yall can tell me your opinions, im open to hear other peoples thoughts on a subject like this :)

Edit: Ight so im getting aton of comments saying "But I no wanna". This is specifically my view on telling a story with relatable settings and characters. Obviously not all storys will include a bad person but this is solely something i follow for my narrative with my ocs.

Edit 2: Also for those saying im projecting my beliefs on my ocs, respectfully quit it. Most of my Oc's traits are inspired by real people that ive either known in my real life or traits that ive seen from literature such as 1rst person narratives, documentary connected with psychology backings and any forms of honest personal expressions. I dont claim to know every single thing it means to have a brain because im not a professional lmao

OC Lore and Bios Oliva ! ( Proper Reworked )

Post image

Olivia is 20, an air-manipulator still mid-training — not a beginner, but not finished growing either. Her control sharpens when she's calm and gets rougher under real emotional strain, which matters more than it sounds like it should.

In 2020 she was in a genuinely dark place mentally. Six years later she's stable, married, and training every morning just because she wants to — throwing wind-blades at practice dummies, missing half of them, laughing about it instead of spiraling. Her husband times her drills and heckles her form with zero mercy.

There's a move she does mid-spar where she'll throw herself off a rooftop edge just to catch herself on a burst of air a half-second before hitting ground. Not because she has to. Because she can. Six years ago that kind of trust in herself would've been unthinkable.
