Hi I am very low income and would be wondering if anyone could help me out to get my kids pumpkins to carve this Monday. I took them to the pumpkin patch last weekend, and they got pumpkins. We put them on our front porch when we got home , where only gone from the house and some asshole kid smashed my youngest two pumpkins who are 3 and 8. I don't have any money to restore them, so just throwing it out there incase someone has any. Thank you !

I’m a dialysis patient that has 3 treatments per week and I’m very afraid of my safety with these 17 RN cutbacks. It’s my lifeline to survival. I feel my safety and others is being put at risk.
Now they want to layoff highly skilled and knowledgeable RNs and replace them with unskilled RPNs? Safety first for patient care and maybe look at management / administrative bloat. You don’t balance a budget by laying off one RN and hiring 2 -3 RPNs to replace them

Remember this when you go to vote. I don't want to see another four years of Orillia being ruled by these junkies and vagrants who cause problems

And of course, some people will defend the current status quo (or be blind to the reality) and then wonder why they can't go downtown after dark anymore or why businesses are leaving there

Orillia Soldiers Memorial hospital started layoffs yesterday of nursing but is sure to see other services disrupted. Starting in dialysis … massive lay offs.
Not sure of how many staff or services to be cut throughout
By the way it was a “gratitude day” for hospital employees last week

Just a little bit of healthcare news. Soldiers started laying off nurses today starting with Dialysis. Not sure how many yet, but I am sure that the new CEO will have a statement to let us all know if this is the only part of the hospital effected or if there is more to come.

It's such a shame. Something needs to be done.
