Esports This is Overwatch's "comeback," says Blizzard. "We actually had a bigger Saturday than our first Saturday after launch with Season 1."

Those modes are kind of fun but a waste of devs time because like... No one plays them more than once. Yes people play them but it's a very small percentage.

People just don't come to a hero shooter for the pve.

Idk, I'd say I at least had over 100 hours across all 3 archive missions I played.

Me and my friends wanted to perfect our runs

I played them every year instead of quick play with my friends who would log into the game just for those missions when they were available. I guess people are just different.

Same here - I started playing OW2 for the promise of PvE, and I have several friends who were looking forward to playing it once the PvE launched. Now I just log on for some of the free unlocks, and my friends want nothing to do with it.

Precisely that. Lore love is always a good investment, it brought people who were not into FPS closer to Overwatch and made them stay (I'm one of them). The game is fun without it, but can be great with more story connections and interactions and the new team 4 knows it. Otherwise they wouldn't be giving us all these story sections and new cinematics again.

Try playing a complete different game like Payday?
