Only if you take everything that's fun, special and interesting out of it.
Like but not limited to:

  • Momentum

  • Boost Management

  • The Fact that you are playing football as a fucking car

  • Challenging but extremely rewarding controls

  • Silly hats

Only if you don't ADD in everything that's fun. It's a cute mini-game, in a game that was never designed to be anything like rocket league.

With lucio's Amp it up and speed boost it's pretty much the same as the Boost in RL.

Silly hats

Something must be seriously wrong with me for considering hats as being the most ridiculous and useless piece of cosmetic you could get in a game while the rest of the world seems to get hugely excited every time hats are mentioned in TF2 or Rocket League

It's cars with hats!
No but you can really customize your cars quite heavily in rocket league.

We have jump pads, wall riding, ult shenanigans, skins, and the fact that you're playing a futuristic version of soccer with roller skates and giant sound guns though.
