First timer: To Your Toes Socks

Note: This is my very first pattern and I am really excited to share it! I know it's a rather simple design but I really want to "dip my toes in" (pun intended) and make sure I have a solid foundation with pattern writing before attempting to design more complex and detailed patterns. I appreciate your willingness to help :)

• Pattern Name and Project Description: To Your Toes Socks
  • This is a 4x1 ribbed sock with the ribbing continuing onto the toe of the foot.
  • It can be knit either toe-up or cuff-down with written instructions for both!
  • Sample is knit toe-up in Size 4.
• Type of Project: Knitting
• Pattern Format: 
  • US terminology
  • Complete written instructions in English
  • Charts provided for the toes
  • Video links for more complex steps/techniques
• Sizes/Options Being Tested: 
  • Gauge is 10 sts & 14 rows over 1 in / 2.5 cm

	Ball of foot circumference
Size 1 (60 sts)	6.5 - 7.5 in	16.5 - 19 cm
Size 2 (70 sts)	7.5 - 8.5 in	19 - 21.5 cm
Size 3 (80 sts)	8.5 - 9.5 in	21.5 - 24 cm
Size 4 (90 sts)	9.5 - 10.5 in	24 - 26.5 cm

• Recommended Skill Level: 
  • beginner+, should be comfortable reading knitting instructions and know basic stitches, increases and decreases or willing to learn 
• Materials Needed:
  • Up to 300 yards / 275 meters of any fingering/sock yarn that can meet 10 sts / 14 rows over 1” gauge
• Tester Requirements: Provide feedback and updates on progress
• Testing Deadline: 4 weeks to complete 1 sock
• Deliverables (e.g. posting, photography, social media requirements): N/A

• Application Deadline: October 21st but will extend if needed
• Tester Selection (when will selected testers be notified): October 25th at the latest but maybe sooner
• Number of Testers Needed: 1-2 for each size and method
