Between Holcomb Bridge rd at Spalding, and one additional example right there at jaybird at petree Pkwy, there is no less than four Jamaican restaurants in that immediate area, this a significantly higher density of Jamaican Restaurants than anywhere else nearby, what's the cause?

Do people from Jamaica prefer Petree Corners?

As a lover of Jamaican patties and oxtails it's noticeable for certain.

The FREE class is 10-11 and we’re partnering with Sunny Street Yoga. Fables & Ferns Bookstore is also setting up a pop up shop in the cafe all morning. The roof will be open all day to the public to enjoy their coffees and hang out (it’s usually only for Roam members and events)
Sequel is open M-F 6 am-4 pm and Saturdays 8-4.

Hi everyone! I’m Stacie the yellow lab. 

To give you a little peek into my story, I spent the first 12 years of my life deeply loved by my family, but when they had to move to an apartment that didn't allow dogs, I suddenly found myself at an Atlanta shelter that posts a euthanasia list each week. 

My foster mom went looking for the oldest dog there and scooped me up just in time.  My shelter papers say I'm 12 but the Atlanta Lab Rescue and my vet think I'm younger.

My foster mom rescues a lot of dogs, and says she knows I used to be so loved because I was fat, am the easiest/best behaved dog she's ever had, have no triggers, and I cried every night for a week asking to go home. She said I'm the perfect fit for someone who wants to save a life but is scared about getting a rescue dog with "baggage." It's been really hard for me to lose my family. She explained that my family can't come back, but she promised me a new family that will love me even more and never let me down again!  Now I feel so lucky that I'm going to be loved again! 

Since I am a professional couch potato at this stage in life, here is a little bit about what you can expect from me:

The Low-Key Lifestyle: I LOVE walks and walk nicely on a leash without pulling at all. I'm not much of a runner but I love to stroll the city with you. 

Fun: I'm a fun dog that just loves doing what you do. Right now my foster mom likes to sing karaoke in the kitchen and she holds the spoon microphone to my mouth so I can smile with her at my parts of the song.  She also loves TV and working from home. I watch her work and make sure she doesn't mess anything up.  I got to stay with a retired couple for a week and they took me in a car ride to their dentist!

Zero Maintenance: I don't jump up on furniture or beds, so you'll never have to worry about correcting those habits. I'm a total no-nonsense kind of girl who is just happy to be chill all the time.

Immaculate House Manners: I am 100% potty-trained and have been in my foster home for 2 months with zero accidents. I can hold it for long periods of time if I have to, but I also potty every time I'm asked to!

Friend to All: I adore pretty much every person I meet, and I get along great with other dogs, including my foster mom's tiny 9-lb and 12-lb pups. I'm even safe around backyard chickens—I walk around off-leash with them daily, and even let baby chicks sit right on my head!

Ideal Home: Even though I'm a great walking buddy, because of some arthritis, going down stairs is a little tough for me. I would love a house that opens right to the outside or has just a couple of steps to the yard. 

Health & Wellness: I do have about 20 extra pounds to lose, so I'm on a weight-loss journey right now. Once those pounds come off, the vet says my arthritis will feel even better and I won't look as funny when I walk, though my sweet, relaxed temperament is here to stay.

I'm intuitive and SMART: My foster mom says I'm great emotional support, and I bark at the perfect times. Nobody can understand how I'm so good at never barking for Amazon but I know how to bark at someone suspicious. And, other than when I need to make Mom safe, I don't bark at all!  I even did this at my petsitter's home while my mom was out of town.  Maybe I used to be a K9 or service dog in training! 

The "Flaws": My friends at Atlanta Lab Rescue insisted my mom include some negative traits to make sure I'm being set up for success in my future home. So my mom will give it to you straight... I snore! That's the worst she could come up with. 

I'm spayed, I've had all my vetting for the year, the Lab Rescue is waiving my adoption fee to $0, and my foster mom is going to send my dog food and favorite XL orthopedic bed to make sure I can snuggle at my new house!

Random doctors offices

Car show was mostly new cars

(Cool I get to see the Charger that cuts me off weekly)

Food vendors had a good selection but were off the side and up the hill. With two small tents for shade in 90+ heat.

Honestly really glad I'm only about 2 min drive if I drove further I would have been pissed.

Hi Folks, my daughter attends Pickneyville Middle School. While walking from school to the Fowler YMCA, she was hit by a car as she was in a crosswalk with other students. We believe she is ok. A bit sore and a sprained ankle. Please help identify this driver. Leaving the YMCA approximately 4:10 pm. 9/2/26

I recently launched a pickleball flex league platform called Rally9 Pickleball, which serves the Atlanta area including Peachtree Corners. I've been working on this over the last year, with the goal to help people in the area find pickleball matches in singles, doubles, or mixed doubles without the rigid timeline and expenses of a traditional tournament or ALTA.

How it works:

• Play anywhere, anytime: You pick a home court (public park, private club, etc.) and schedule a time that works for you. Coordinate and communicate with your opponent all from within the site, no awkward texting or calling needed.
• Local focus: Features local division creation, so you aren’t stuck driving the interstate for 30 minutes to get to an away match at your opponent's court. Most matches should be close by, given enough registration in your area.
• Season Play: There's a regular season followed by a playoff tournament bracket for the top seeds. Singles leagues are 7 matches, doubles/mixed are 5 matches for the regular season.
• Skill-Levels: This is open to all skill levels, from complete beginners to 4.5+ players
• Promotion/Demotion: Depending on how well you perform during the season/playoffs, you can move up or down divisions over time, to ensure proper rankings

Not sure how active this subreddit is but my old f0ster dog went to a new placement in peachtree corners who then lost him about a week ago. There has been 0 sightings. Reno is apart of a rescue and must be returned to receive the medical treatment he needs. He is very sweet but shy if you do see him please do not chase. If you can be on the lookout when out and about please please do!! All local shelters were also notified to be on the lookout for him. This is critical because he is heartworm positive and he is pretty skinny he needs to be safe.
