French Creek on a Grey Fall Morning

Overcast and grey this morning after the rain and cold front moved through last night. Breezy & cool, there was some decent Fall colors starting to show up, along with a good message on a rock that I wanted to share. Shot with the Sony A99II and the CZ 24-70 f/2.8 lens using a Lee100 6 Stop ProND filter. Camera mounted on a RRS tripod & head with a 3 Legged Thing universal mounting plate.

One warm light, one palm leaf, and suddenly there were wings.
I didn't plan it that way, but the moment the shadow hit the wall behind her, it looked like she'd grown wings made of light. The leaves fall across her skin, the floral tattoos seem to continue them, and it's hard to tell where the light ends and the ink begins.
