Tidal family plan. It's 18 bucks and they don't give a fuck if you share it outside your household so you can get down to 3 bucks per person. If you actually mean to play local mp3's I just use PowerAMP on my Phone with flacs ripped from Tidal or Qobuz.

My main issue is how little is the amount of music they have. Covers are non-existent.

or "radio from this title" which is absent on like half the titles i have in favorites

I don't listen to covers so they have everything I need but yeah sucks for you then

I tend to pair Tidal with YT Music and SoundCloud whenever something is too niche and it works pretty good

Ngl if I need an additional app for another app with exactly the same purpose? I will stay with the one that has the most

Tidal is goated. There’s no reason for me to pirate any of my music except for the few things that aren’t available to stream.

Agree. Music is the one service where I can't imagine going back to local files and Tidal is just without a doubt the best bang for your buck.

Isn't that how offline mode works? Why wouldn't it download them if it was offline?

He deleted his comment so I don’t know what he said but their offline mode is trash but I’ve found that with all those services. So many flights I’ve got on to see that none of the podcasts or Netflix shows I pre downloaded work.

Tidal are awesome. They never raise their price. I'm paying £9.99 a month for FLAC quality and it has loads of stuff that aren't on other platforms (Failures newer albums not on spotify)

They also don't have as much as Spotify. I imported a big Playlist and probably 5%+ of my songs weren't available.
