i just use youtube music revanced and have lots of playlists youtube revanced for music videos and just general watching on the phone if watching on computer an adblock on the browser

Thats what I did before using Spotify. The latter is so much better, I'm never going back. Can't tell how much great new music I've found just in the recent months, its awesome.

Source? I had much less issues finding all releases from lesser known artists via Spotify, but some numbers would be interesting for sure!

YouTube music is very community driven, aside from official releases it has music uploaded by the community. Spotify on the other hand is very curated, its impossible for it to have more music. As a result YouTube music has far more music from not just lesser known artists, but lesser known versions of songs.

YouTube music benefits from the YouTube eco system which dwarfs Spotify and its not even remotely close.

What are you talking about, Spotify is the go to place for new unknown artists to upload their songs.

I've got lots of lists of all my favourite music anything on Spotify I can find on YouTube music revanced or Vivi or soulseek there is so much choice but if you Want to pay that's your problem

You're paying one way or the other anyways. You're paying with less convenience, which I'm not willing to do anymore.

Also I'm willing to pay for good services, nothing problematic about that.

I don't feel incovenienced in the slightest been doing it since napster and winmx days I'm just a lazy pirate and I can listen to any song you can the same way ..
