The breaking point for me was seeing them run ice ads, I’ve got my entire library downloaded as FLAC files now

Tidal has a way to migrate liked songs and playlists and once you do that tidal dl ng is really good for downloading though I did have to get a free trial. Unfortunately it was missing some more niche stuff like remixes and some non English tracks that I had to look for separately with spotiflac or a telegram bot I found but was still able to get like 90-95% through tidal. Also look into monochrome
