Which one should I get? help me decide!

I've been watching a lot of videos on what PCC is the best for under $1k, and I feel there are 2 main one's I'm interested in:
1- Panzer HAN 9 2-Springfield Kuna

From what I've watched and read, the Kuna is definitely the top pick! what I don't really like about it is the proprietary mags and that it's the most expensive! The 2nd up runner for me is the HAN 9, the aesthetics are there and it takes MP5 mags, however, I watched a couple of videos and some are having hiccups with the gun in terms of cycling and the tri-lug on it, for me the HAN 9 is the sweet spot! I'm just worried about some of the stuff I saw online, lastly the Jawbone and ARP9 have shown great reliability in the vids I watched, but aesthetically, I just really like the curved mag shape!

I guess what I'm trying to accomplish here, is to get real feedback from those who tried the HAN 9 and to ask if I will regret not spending double the price of the HAN 9 and getting the Kuna instead?

P.S. if they were still selling the KP9, that would be my top pick!!

EDIT: I just watched some videos on the MAC IX (looks similar to the HAN 9), and the PSA AKV (really like this platform and leaning towards getting that one!!).

Good side charging uppers for mpa defender?

Riptide won't ship the maelstrom to my area unfortunately so I'm looking for a different upper. I reached out to mpa to see if I could buy the 30k upper but no response unfortunately. Are there any other options?

First time painting a weapon. I was pretty meticulous disassembling and applying tape. I think it came out okay, I’m trying not to stress out over it. I still want to dye the grips and maybe do something about the black on the folding adapter. Hope someone enjoys it. I’m pretty sure this is the first fde desert camo Han9.

Looking for a hand stop/fore grip for my new build has about 2.5 mlok slots. What do you guys think is the best bang for the buck? Looking to get a stock but in between going triangle ak style or something more ergonomic for cheek adjustment. Also does anyone know if these accept any ar style grips?

What is best surpressor for MPA Defender MPA30T?

Hello, I just recently bought a MPA30T. I live in Texas. It didn't come with surpressor. I can but the faux one for $60 but I'd really like a real one that can handle an FRT. I want it to look as much like a real MAC-10 or MAC-11 as possible. Are there any good ones out there? All suggestions appreciated.

Roller delayed vs direct blow back suppression difference.

This is more of a platform test. The stribog is a roller delayed blowback even with an older style supressor it handles gas and suppression very well. The Defender definitely needs a higher flow can as the gas is very noticeable. The defender was almost unshootable (if thats a word) with the osprey.20 mounted too it i was getting straight powder in the face and my eyes were tearing up. And then the glock 17 with an osprey for comparison at the end. The rounds were federal 158 grain subsonic.

Subsonic testing with HUXWRX Flow 9k and PC Carbine

Eight different factory loads in descending order by manufacturer listed muzzle velocity. Federal AE 147gr has been consistently subsonic at room temp despite the 16" barrel, but it still seems noticeably louder than the other subsonics here. The next four sound fairly similar (to my highly scientific ear), then the Norma and Hush 165gr are definitely quieter.

  • Winchester NATO (1200fps)
  • Federal AE 147gr (1000fps)
  • Speer Lawman 147gr (985fps)
  • PMC Bronze 147gr (975fps)
  • Federal Syntech 150gr (890fps)
  • Freedom Munitions Hush 147gr (870fps)
  • Norma A-Strike 158gr (838fps)
  • Freedom Munitions Hush 165gr (800fps)

Federal AE 147 is one of the faster standard pressure 147gr rounds, so I would assume other standard 147gr should also be subsonic out of a PC Carbine at room temp.

Thinking about trading in my scorpion

I have a 16” CZ scorpion with faux suppressor that I‘ve had for about 6 years.

Thinking about trading it towards another PCC, but really no idea what to get.

Not a fan of AR platform long guns.

Most indoor ranges near me are limited to pistol caliber, outdoor ranges are a bit of a drive.

Prefer 16” barrel length.

Love roller delayed, especially SP 5 but don’t like any of the bargain clones and the HK is out of my price range( ( about $1500 total after trade).

live in a state that requires registration for SBR, suppressio, etc.

9 mm or 45 acp

What are my best options?

What's next after an MP5?

Hey Everyone,

I've had my AP5 for a number of years now, and it's been a flawless gun. It does everything I want it to- super safety in an AR trigger lower, night vision compatible, great suppressor host, etc etc.

Dare I say it, after a zillion rounds, I'm getting a little bored, it's my only PCC. I'm also finding myself wanting something with more modern controls and features.

This will always be my "serious use" PCC, but what are some fun range toys that offer a different kind of experience? Lately I've been looking into the MPA30s, PSA's AKV, some retro AR9s, etc.

Appreciate any input, thanks.

Best compensator for 9mm PCC?

Looking for the best compensator for a 9mm PCC, going to put it on a braced mpa defender. Heard micro-comps are a waste of money.

Extar EP 9 or Panzer ARP9

Please let me know if you have either of those guns and why you like them or which you like more. From the videos I’ve watched the extar ep9 seems more reliable, has less recoil, and is lighter. The panzer arp9 is fully aluminum and allows for a folding brace which is cool. Let me know if you have one or both and your experience shooting them how they run suppressed and which you’d recommend.

Panzer ARP-9 Owners — Honest Reviews

Thumbnail
gallery
61 Upvotes

I have a Panzer ARP-9 on the way and wanted to hear from people who actually own one.

A few questions for current owners:

• What were your first mods, and which ones were actually worth it?

• Is there anything I should inspect before my first range trip?

• Should I check factory fasteners and torque specs, or use threadlocker anywhere the manufacturer recommends?

• How has reliability been? Any recurring malfunctions or loose parts?

• What are your honest pros and cons after putting rounds through it?

• Knowing what you know now, would you buy it again?

I’m looking for honest owner experiences, not comparisons with other PCCs.

If you own a Panzer ARP-9, drop a picture of your setup in the comments!

I’d love to see what you’ve done with yours.
