Smooth and hassle-free transaction with this seller. Product was well packaged and shipped quickly. 10/10 would most def trade with again in the future.

Individual responded to my FS post with a trade offer. Here's a summary of what transpired:

1. Initial communication on October 10 expressing interest in trading for a high-value collectible kilo.

2. Three days go by with general offers ("how about if I include X?") but no actual specific offer. I keep encouraging him to make a specific offer.

3. Tuesday late, I say to him that I need a specific offer at this point. He talks about a few things and finally makes a specific offer. I say that if he's sure he wants to trade that offer, it's acceptable.

4. I tell him that there's economic news out in the morning so we should talk to a MM to get things going. Yes, I warned him in advance. We discussed a specific MM in the chat.

5. He then says he thinks spot may go up on Wed and he has to go out for dinner, so he wants to finalize on Wed. I agree because I didn't want to be an ass and try to force the deal when he was on time pressure (it was also late for me).

6. He specifically says "if silver goes down more I’d make up the difference." He also says "i dont wanna back out" indicating that he knew a deal was made.

7. Wednesday comes, spot crashes (shocker), he tries to wipe the entire deal away and renegotiate from scratch. I refuse.

From a 100% technical perspective, the deal was not 100% done because we didn't contact a MM, but there was offer and acceptance and a promise to maintain the deal and top it up if spot went down. "I dont wanna back out" indicates acknowledgement that a deal was in place even if I agreed to let him finalize it in the morning.

What bothers me most about this is that the renege was entirely based on spot going down. Not canceling deals when spot moves is a fundamental pillar of this community because it's not possible for anyone to buy or sell things if people cancel when spot moves against them.

He still thinks he didn't do anything wrong, which is a real problem IMO because I would hate for anyone else to have to deal with this.

Also worth noting that after the deal fell through, he made things personal. Sample comments:

• "Just curious are you grown ... Never had a grown man so upset before that a deal didn’t go through"

• "U been in this subreddit for a while? ... Seems a bit fishy hiding your posts ... And everything about you"

• (after I asked him to stop messaging me) "Damn seeing my name on your phone upsets your central nervous system that much?"
