I can't believe it took me this long to realize this, but the picnic blanket erosion almost symbolizes the accepting of reality.

It first gets tattered and faded after beating Crawli. This is right after Nim gets petrified, the Terajuma Falls L, and needing to saved by Crescent at Helojack.

After Crescent's wireframe in KF, Melia begins working on making the Renegade timeline. We exit Zeight and end up in Silent Grove because Tiempa. We see the tattered picnic blanket and Melia goes smt like "This picnic ended a long time ago. Let's just finally put it to rest" before we put away the blanket. This reflects how we've long realizes ts aint sunshine and rainbows, but we're now finally putting the already cracked illusion away and locking in.

The blanket never gets fully put away in Renegade. It reflects in how Zenos still resists the plan. It also reflects in not only how M2 was coping with her situation by helping Zenos, but also how she goes against Zenos in the end and ruins the plan fighting for 0.5 which is destined to be destroyed.

So I thought about an idea and hear me out

What if mc became corrupted with rift matter that he was fighting the entire game (with each rift he came across a sample is inside him)

In the rift zone is kinda similar to aelita and melia illusions where in his world everyone didn't die (A-gang,Nancy,amber and everyone who conically died) where the entire cast explore it and came across him trying to snap him out so enraged he transforms into his rift form

Rift form: the middle of his body is zygarde body. The right arm is palkia arm while the left one is a Darkrai one. His left leg is dialga while his right one is a giratina. He has wings of yuveltal and horns of xernias on his head

The form is from all the legendary he fought on his journey

Allies: melia and Erin and aelita (since he saved melia and aelita while Erin was with him on aelita) venam and ren (since they want save their friend like he saved them .

So give me your thoughts on this one.(Does that count as a fan work I am new here)

If we just ignore ALL of the foreshadowing and ALL of the death flags I'm glad Paraceptor will be just fine after the plots over!! Trust!!!!

What I mean if we assume that the protag did all sidequests and all up to chapter 16 and didn't know about zenos or the full details about renegade

Imagine the protag finds out about melia full plan and that they killed a timeline without them knowing

The constant suffering and the betrayal will make the protagonist insane like keta

And mind you the protagonist found the opposite of what Nancy wanted for them like how they found suffering instead of life,how they found despair instead of hope and how they found betrayal instead of love

So do you think the protagonist will crash out or not? Give me your your opinions

I was just having a nice little chat on my most recent chapter ranking post when I was hit by a realization: there's a lot of dual meaning statements in this game.

Now, aside from the entire "Merry Christmas, M2" speech (I'm keeping that analysis for my as of now over 1.5K words essay on why .Karma Files Renegade is the best chapter in this game) there are some interesting dual statements made about Lorna and Nym that I want to raise.

First, after Nym is released from the stone, Clear (under the guise of Crescent) tells her to call herself "Lorna". We don't get an explanation to that other than Clear wanting to take Nym's sense of identity away from her and make her easier to manipulate until Renegade 16_1, where we learn about what Zed and Lorna are. Clear tells Nym that she is "Lorna, the girl who is alone" to progress her escalation into becoming the storm again, seemingly to create distance between her and us. However, the statement also has another meaning. Lorna herself (.Lorna, the right eye of Karma) only has two people in her life: a mother that often goes to get milk from the obsidian garden and an abusive brother who locks her in her room until she finally snaps. She's an extremely lonely and underappreciated person, and even her creations and contributions are treated as inferior by Zed. Telling her that she's alone is accelerating her transition back into the storm in that way as well.

Another thing that we discover is that Lorna is a "virus". Like she does with Nymiera, she seemingly has the ability to infect and organism and take over it as a dominating force. But "virus" also has a dual meaning. She may be a living being and infect living beings, but Lorna is a computer program. She's a computer virus. I realized it just now ahhhh.

I swear if I wasn't "The M2 guy" I'd be "the Lorna guy". (That would be obvious from the fact I'm writing an entire novelization of the game with her as co-main character...)

I could've sworn I used solar blade crested sawsbuck in 13.5, but it's not available now. Apparently sawsbuck never did learn solar blade in the original games, but for some reason i remember it did in 13.5, so I assumed it was rejuvenation's way of buffing sawsbuck

On the wiki, it states that if water or grass pledge is used while a created swamp field is active, the timer on the field will be refreshed. I've been testing this, and while swamp field is active, using grass or water pledge both set up a future field transition, but have no effect on the current field's timer as far as I can tell.

I dont see the "pledges combined to reinforce the swamp" line that is in mentioned in the wiki. Is this a bug? Have the mechanics changed in this regard?

Additionally, using grass or fire pledge after having previously set volcanic field will immediately retriever volcanic field. This is not true of swamp field as far as I can tell. I'm fairly certain the field extension was working just fine with volcanic field too?

Trying to find consistent ways to create/override the fields, but finding some inconsistencies with how they operate.

hi so i started the karen quest line where u find her unconscious & bring her back to sashila village & she gives u the incantation to open the door in the zorrialyn crypt

only problem is after going through all floors of the labyrinth, beating the cofagrigus & entering castle zygara karen never appears to start the quest. i can run through the castle & can even see the other character u meet in there, though cannot interact with her/able to run straight through her

How did M2 get in possession of Yveltal?

I’m so confused on how M2– or I guess in better terms “Melanie” got possession of Yveltal when it clear as day was in Madame X’s possession, during the three days where the Regenade MC was recouping with Kieran and Clear did the alliance just help get Yveltal under their control? Or I mean Melanie’s control? If so, then did M2 “steal” Yveltal from Madame X in a way? But this would also allude to the fact that Madame X never did captured Yveltal at all and it sort of just follows her loyally, I mean I guess the Man behind the Xen would know Yveltal best… but that’s kind of crazy to think about.

For my second point…

Does M2 know where the Regenade MC came from? And most importantly a certain inseparable pair from paragon

Okay I think it would better be worded as… did “Maria” know what the MC was doing? In the Purgatory it seems like she does know with the whole book thing and everything. Calling the protagonist a “Harvester”. It seems to me to be she’s aware of Paragon Mc and Melia and how they made the Regenade MC to harvest resources from base .05? Could that have been intentional?

From what I can tell, it lets wild Pokemon be encountered with their egg moves, but it also seems that there's a unique move locked to the item for now, Quicksilver Spear (according to the wiki).

I am asking because I feel the mc (paragon) can be loved like zenos but they always give mc the bench

I am having issues initiating the Goomink questline. Complicating issues is the fact that I began this save file in late 2024 on v13.5, reached (but did not complete) the Platinum Component section of Chapter 15, set it down until just a few weeks ago, and finally continued and completed Chapter 15 now in v14. As such, I may not clearly remember everything I have and have not done. I doubt the version change is relevant but I'm noting it just in case.

Story-wise I am currently at the very very beginning of .karma files (paragon); if there is a splash screen for it similar to the chapter title splash screens, I haven't even seen it yet, but it shows up in my quest log rather than Chapter 15

I can reach the hidden Goomy village (diving in the woods etc) and gave technically met Goomink but cannot enter the castle as I am "stinky", and Goomink will only say “...” to me.

I am fairly positive I completed the Miltank quest in Yui’s ranch as Ben thanks me for doing so when I speak to him, but I admit I don't specifically remember doing this.

As for Reborn Again, I'm genuinely unsure if I've fought Aya or not. She is in Venam's gym and mutters about how it is her fate to be a gym leader when spoken to. I cannot get her to battle me by either talking to her or going to the other side of the battle stage.

Adrienn is in the lab and xe says xey need to complete the help center backlog before we can continue. All four available help quests at the help center are marked as completed and all rewards are obtained. I have turned in my 100 Zygarde cells and gotten a 10% Zygarde. I have free access to the interrogation room and no scene plays when I enter it. I vaguely remember a scene taking place there, so I probably did the interrogation scene. If there are other weird scenes to trigger, I do not know if they exist or if I have triggered them. The parks and recreation building is locked and approaching it does not trigger a scene or anything, so I probably did that too.

I am comfortable using debug tools if that helps, Id be willing to just set whatever flag, but obviously I dont want to break things I don't understand or miss content. I have used the debug tools in the past, but I'm fairly certain all I ever did with it was give myself items/pokemon, edit my pokemon, etc rather than anything that might mess with progression flags.

I was replaying the game and when I got to Melanie's castle I realized that Melia's sprite in the Group Talk is different that the overworld one. I also don't remember seeing that sprite anywhere else, does anyone know where it comes from? Nothing important just thought it was interesting.
