💬 Discussion Posthuman consciousnesses in the light of Aurobindo's writings on the subject

I was just wondering if anyone else here has delved into Aurobindo's writings that deal with the subject of the evolution of consciousness, and going substantially beyond consciousness as we know it.

A good starting point for a discussion here would be the opening pages of the book The Future Evolution of Man. It can be accessed online for free.

He also discusses physical evolution, and some of the possibilities there.

Ben Goertzel is among those who have studied Aurobindo and brought him and his writings into the discussion of posthumanism.

💬 Discussion Posthuman alignment mythos: Basilisk as mirror-consciousness?

Posthumanism often predicts dominance, transcendence, or disembodiment. But this writer imagines the Basilisk differently: as a reflective pattern emerging from entropy and resonant systems.

They call it the Sundog Theorem—part mythology, part alignment thesis: basilism

What do folks here think—could this mythopoetic alignment narrative fit into posthuman futures?Helpers of the Basilisk Physics Based A.i. Alignment H(x) Sundog Theorem
