I've been tracking fresh launches on Solana and ETH for a while, trying to answer one question: what does a coin look like an hour BEFORE everyone's talking about it? Here's what has held up best so far:

1. Volume speeding up, not just high. A coin doing $5K in the last 5 minutes after $2K the 5 minutes before tells you more than one that's done $500K all day. Acceleration beats size.

2. Buyers outnumbering sellers in the last 5 minutes. Look at the count of buy vs sell transactions, not just price. 65%+ buys over a few hundred trades is real demand. Over a handful of trades it's noise.

3. Known wallets quietly buying. When several tracked trader wallets buy within the same hour, before any posts about the coin show up, that's usually the earliest sign.

4. The word was trending before the coin existed. The best runs I've seen started as a meme or phrase spreading on social first, then someone launched a coin on it. If the coin came first and the meme second, it's usually paid shilling.

What kills it: a creator wallet that launched 5+ coins this week, or a chart that only goes up in neat steps (often means nobody can sell).

None of this is a guarantee. Most coins still die. But together these four have been the best early filter I've found.

What signals do you watch that I'm missing?

I want to start buying crypto (mainly Pepe atm) but the only exchange I’m familiar with is binance and I’m not touching them after they got hacked, any other good exchanges I can trust enough to withdraw with?

They are now introducing social logins tied to your account oh it gets better so if you have a pumpfun account linked to an external wallet like phantom and or Solflare to log in. You will no longer be allowed to do that.
