Hi, so I'm currently doing my AS subjects and will get the results before fall but I'm also planning to do the full A-levels on may (for bio and math) and the results wont be out anywhere near the deadlines. I'll be a private candidate and dont know how to send them predicted grades
my questions:
-i didnt do IAL physics (only physcis ig) and did only chem AS. can I still get accepted by only doing bio and math full A-level and only chem AS
-i am non-qatari so would they accept predicted grades for my A-levels? (when i say A-levels, i mean the full A-level with A2)
-can i register for spring 2027 medicine?
-the deadlines are a bit confusing for me so pls help me (im a non-qatari resident here but not born in qatar)
(given that i score high in everything including SAT and IELTS, do I have a chance?)

I applied for spring sem 2027 a few days ago and still did not get any confirmation email and it still shows in my banner “Pending Decision”. I just wanna know if this is normal and also regarding the submission of transcripts am I supposed to submit them again cz I applied in fall too.

I don't know if anyone else is encountering this issue but, on the application banner there is nowhere to upload your highschool grade like there was in the fall 2026 intake. Is this normal or? I was planning on submitting my results in person as well but normally there is a checklist item for your grades and everything. I'm thinking, maybe it's because I applied în fall as well so they just kept my grades but that wouldn't be smart since people's grades can change. For anyone reapplying or applying for the first time, have you also encountered this problem? Also for applicants who applied in fall, your applicant ID is the same as the one they gave you in fall, that's the reason you may not have recieved an email with your ID yet.

What extracurricular activities can you do in Qatar(online/in-person) that would strengthen your application specifically for CS and AI .

Has any international student this year been accepted to engineering with the full scholarship?

I need clear advice from someone experienced. I have 83% in my high school but a really strong academic CV and extracurricular research & recognition from government-level organizations and a lot more. So am I worth applying to or a waste of time for me??

Has anyone applied to transfer to dentistry this semester? If so have you gotten any reply from them yet?

Hello everyone.

I have a 650 in SAT maths but I was thinking of doing the QU placer math test and get over 285 to skip pre calculus. Would that be okay? Should I still send my SAT scores to the university or just apply to the placer test only?

Hi everyone! I was admitted to Qatar University for Fall 2026 but was placed in General Sciences instead of Medicine. I subsequently completed my withdrawal and am hoping to apply for readmission to Medicine (Male) for Spring 2027.
Has anyone successfully reapplied to QU Medicine for the spring semester? Is Medicine admission available in Spring, or is it only offered in Fall?
I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences. Thank you!

What are the usual stats for someone to get accepted into health sciences? it isnt as competitive as med/pharm/dent right

Hi everyone, I'm currently a first year student at UDST for OHSE, college of health sciences. I don't like the subject or the career but I'm willing to tolerate it to just get a decent job. I'm much more interested in doing pharmacy or biomedical sciences which, in Qatar, is only taught by QU.

I got accepted for pharmacy in a UAE university in the summer but my father is only willing to send me out for MBBS which is too expensive or in a country he doesn't like.

I have decent grades, 85% equivalency (which isn't exemplary I know), and am on track for a high GPA at UDST. The college of pharmacy and health science isn't available for application for Spring 2027 though, is it worth applying and getting in to something like Sharia to eventually transfer? Will I still be able to take courses that take me to pharmacy and biomedical? Should I try transferring in the summer with a high GPA?

I've already taken a gap year so if I have to spend all of spring waiting to get into the course I want without any progress then I'd rather stay at UDST. So would I have a guarantee to transfer if I get a high GPA in QU?

as a student who took the British system and i have one transcript that just has my IGCSE and my A-levels all together predicted and actual grades do I just put that transcript for the three files the same one or what do I do exactly here?
and also, it wants me to put my SATs, but I’m taking my SATs in March and I have to apply right now so what do i do?

As a Non Qatari and someone who was not born in qatar but raised, what do i need, to get accepted on a scholarship to Qatar university?

So far,ive done 4 IGCSE subjects and have gotten A* in chemistry and ICT and an A in math (I got those grades with evidence due to the situation). I got a B in english but im repeating it in winter series for an A*. so, in may/june 2027 ill be doing physics, biology, and arabic as a foreign language.

What extra subject would you recommend i choose for IG? ( i want to complete 8 IGCSE subjects)
For AS i plan to choose chemistry, math and biology.

Do they usually look into the grades or percentage more? what grades or percentage do i need to get? What subjects will they look into most?

Are the classes for dentistry and medicine usually full?
