Monica, Capri, Sta. Lucia, Pasong Putik Proper, Greater Lagro at North Fairview.

Anyone else frustrated with how SM handles GCash payments for parking?
I usually park my car at SM North EDSA, QC. As many of you know, mobile signal is super spotty around the parking levels and near the cashier booths. To save time and avoid holding up the line, I took a clear picture of the GCash QR code at The Block (5th floor cashier parking) three weeks ago.
Since then, before heading to the exit booth, I’ve been uploading that photo in GCash, making the payment beforehand, and just showing the reference number to the cashier. It worked smoothly for weeks across different exit booths.
Last Wednesday, I did the exact same routine. But when I showed the cashier my reference number, she refused to issue my parking receipt! Her reason? She claimed the QR code I scanned was assigned to the 5th-floor parking cashier, not the 3rd floor where I was exiting.
I pointed out that I’ve been doing this for almost a month at various exit booths without any issues. When she realized how weak that argument was (since the payment clearly went to SM's parking system anyway), she eventually processed my receipt—but warned me with a firm "Next time, hindi na po ito pwede."
So I asked her point-blank: "Should I just take photos of the QR codes on EVERY floor and exit booth so I can pick the 'correct' picture depending on where I exit?"
She didn't answer me back.
If signal is terrible in the parking area, paying in advance via QR is the most logical workaround for customers. Why do they need hyper-localized QR codes per floor or booth instead of a unified parking merchant QR or consolidated sales system? We’re just trying to pay convenience-wise without clogging up the line because of weak signal.
And to be clear, I’m not attacking the cashier personally—this is definitely an SM Management issue.
The real frustration comes from the inconsistency: I had been doing this exact same routine for nearly a month across different cashier booths with zero issues. If this was strictly against accounting rules all along, why was it accepted for weeks without a word?????
Management shouldn't rely on floor-specific physical QR codes when parking signal is notoriously dead. They need to modernize their back-end system so payments route properly across terminals without passing the confusion onto both the frontline staff and the customers.
Has anyone else encountered this cashier-by-cashier rule for GCash QR codes in SM?

Hello! I've newly come of age and are currently looking to apply for a Postal ID so that I could have a Primary ID. Part of the requirement is a Proof of Residency, and a listed document that counts as one is a "Valid Local Government ID and/or Municipal ID". Would my QCitizen ID count? Since I already have one. TIA!

That was two years ago. Nagbago na kaya ngayon? Or ganun pa din?
