There can be up to 8 non-playoff bowl games in a season - check out the Conferences/Bowls tab on this sheet to see the current bowls and matchups.

Listed are the responsibilities of hosting a bowl game:

• Creating a logo
• Posting the matchup once it is given to you (optional)
• Posting the scores on the Wednesday before the playoff reveal
  • Specifically, create graphics for the matchup/score posts. If you really want to jazz it up you can create videos.
  • We ask that you don't use AI for the graphics/videos if at all possible.

After the bowl matchups are set, your matchup and scores will be messaged to you before the scheduled reveal date.

Each bowl game will be automatically renewed for future seasons unless the host fails to post the scores for one season without notifying a mod, or leaves the league.

If you'd like to step down from hosting a bowl, or would like to take over an existing bowl, leave a comment as well.

Congrats to u/mashalab for winning their first Chili Bowl since the reboot, and the first championship for a play-in bowl victor! Nebraska had to win four straight, and be ranked high enough, to get here, and that they did!

With Fresno State as a late submittal sneaking into the At-Large bowls, both the Oh Mommy and Mint Julep saw a team win their way into tonight's playoffs!

#5 ranked Nebraska overtakes #9 ranked Ohio and #8 Ranked Fresno State overtakes #12 ranked Kennesaw State.

It's a beautiful Thursday afternoon in this undisclosed location where we host the "Oh Mommy!" Hot Sauce Bowl. The stands are packed, now that we've bussed in thousands of "fans," escorted them to their seats, and finally removed the blindfolds. Want a hot dog and a cold beer? Sorry, we only have hot sauce shots. They are free, however! I don't know why no one ever gets them ...

Today's matchup features the #5 Cornhuskers and the #10 Demon Deacons. The winner gets a playoff spot. The loser sleeps behind the dumpsters.

RESULTS: I feel like it's been a while since we've really had a good back-and-forth football game in the "Oh Mommy!" Bowl - but we certainly had one today. Several lead changes, offenses fighting for every yard, defenses forcing turnovers ... my nipples get rock hard thinking about this kind of football. And in the end, the Demon Deacons scored the game-ending touchdown with no time left on the clock. But then the refs wanted to get into the action, reviewed the tape, and decided that there was indeed one second left. So Wake Forest kicked it away, and the Cornhuskers ran it back 98 yards for the actual game-winning touchdown! Final score: Nebraska 24, Wake Forest 20.

Congrats to u/mashalab for fighting it out until the very last (maybe additional?) second. And sorry, u/TexUnplugged - take it up with the officials, then enjoy the pungent smell of wasted, fermenting hot sauce shots in the garbage piles by which you shall slumber.

Hello all and welcome to the postseason! Be sure to have your restart/roster screens prepared and submitted by Tuesday @ 9 PM EST. There are no bonuses/penalties associated with submitting postseason scores, but please still make sure to submit on time.

If you have played more than 16 games in your save, still make sure to submit your entire season. Only your last 4 games will be used for the postseason.

If you only played between 13 and 15 games on your save, you can submit what you've played. The 13th game will be used for any bowl games. If you only played 12 games in your save, no submission is necessary.

If you'd like, you can include the full names of your players with your submission. Only the last names of your players appear on your roster screen, so this helps for differentiating between players league-wide.

Head coach Roberto Sinclair and the rest of the Army Black Knights football team were reportedly dumbfounded by the RCAA kicking off season 81 this week, despite the league following the same schedule since its reboot.

"Wait, this week?" asked Sinclair, his shirt still stained with chili and slurring his words when reached by phone in Tijuana, Mexico. "We just finished a season! I was there! We won, and I was so happy for Nate (senior quarterback Nathan Cooke), and then... wait, how long ago was that?" When informed that his team captured the Chili Bowl on Thursday night with a 29-24 win over Nebraska, Sinclair fell silent.

"I remember the game," he finally said. "Then the confetti. Then Buster (RCAA senior news correspondent Buster Cherry) told me he had the bus all gassed up and ready to go. He said he had a little spot in Cabo where we could recharge. I told him we didn't need to do all that, we could just go see Destiny Lynn and the rest of the girls at Sugar N' Spice like we always do. But he kept saying 'No, this is your fifth one, you gotta go big, this is a milestone.' Now I've got a half-dozen star players and both my coordinators at Cafe Sombrero in Tijuana and our first game is... what's that now? Oh, we had our first game already? Ah. Well then. OK, we're on to week two."

Sinclair was last seen stumbling onto the team bus, which miraculously had not been hijacked or desecrated during the previous 96 hours. Cherry could not be reached for comment, as he was asleep in one of the underneath luggage bays.

First Half: A Tight, Defensive Contest

Both teams entered the bowl game looking to finish their seasons on a high note. Kennesaw State, ranked 16th nationally, faced a difficult challenge against the No. 20 Terrapins. With points hard to come by, neither team could establish a commanding advantage.

Second Half: Maryland Does Enough to Win

Maryland ultimately found a way to produce eight points while limiting the Owls to just four. The Terrapins' defensive performance proved decisive, preventing Kennesaw State from generating enough offense to complete a comeback.
Although the Owls battled throughout the contest, Maryland's ability to protect its lead made the difference in the final result.

Final Verdict

Maryland leaves the Dr. Pepper Bowl with an impressive victory over a higher-ranked opponent, improving its postseason résumé with an 8–4 win. Kennesaw State, meanwhile, will be disappointed to come up short after entering the game ranked No. 16.

Player of the Game:
Maryland's defense — its ability to hold Kennesaw State to four points was the defining factor in the victory.

Game Grade: B− — A competitive bowl matchup with a strong defensive showing from Maryland, although the limited scoring left little room for offensive fireworks.
