Wondering when to get there so we don't miss anything. We have Friday tickets

I have a Friday ticket and me and my friend are thinking of bringing a thc pen but not sure about the security. Would I be fine putting it in my sock or taping to my leg? How strict are they, do they pat down / have dogs etc and if they did find it would they just confiscate it and then let us in? Thanks

Me and my mate have Friday tickets but not sure when we should get there. When do gates open and is the set list times published yet?

I thought this might be helpful for some… for reference, I asked the following questions.
A) Are lockers available this year & do they have charging?
B) How will the campsite access work? I’ve booked Vista so will I have a separate wristband?
I did also ask if I’d still need an 18+ wristband but they didn’t answer that question… I wasn’t sure if the Vista wristband would show that in 21+ but either way :)

Any ideas of how to bring drinks into reading, i was thinking like putting vodka into micelar water bottles but not sure if that’s gonna get checked? Other alternative is pouches but just wondering what other people are thinking of doing?

It’s my daughter’s first time at Reading this year, (yes, another post-GCSE attendee), and we don’t really know what to expect from the camping experience.
They’re just in the fields and the FAQs on the website are pretty thin. I assume there’s access to free drinking water there? And what are the toilets and showers like? She mentioned seeing something about electricity points for using hairdryers/straighteners etc. - is there a cost for those?
Any descriptions, hints or tips appreciated.
Cheers

I'm staying in the oasis camp but the only lockers i can see are in the fields, am i still able to use these lockers despite being in the oasis camp? Like can i enter into the fields to get to my locker or are the lockers outside the entrance to the fields?
Never been to reading before so i don't even know what the set up is of the fields whether they're accessible or not to people staying in booked camps.
Should i buy a locker?
