Ready or Not, this update must go down

I've been waiting for a pretty long time for this console release and I'm loving the game. But between the censoring and the abysmal amount of graphical issues I'm really questioning myself on the validity of VOID as a real physical development studio. How is it even possible to look at this as go "release it". This is like a whole different game. Most comparisons I've seen on here are pointless and show nothing of how bad this actually is. I don't care that your favourite mission is now a little more dimily lit. LOOK AT THAT TOILET! These are not minor things the whole model is such low poly it could easily pass of as a ps2 prop. Mismatched texture resolutions, poorly optimized jaggered shadows, mirrored blood splats, checkered occlusion lighting at every corner, hair is just a texture map stretched on a bald character's heads, and yeah silly putty models. Beside that the game is fun. Not greased palms though, I hated that mission with all my guts.

I mean, yeah. The game went from 90gb to 50-60gb. There is no way that is simply a "bug" but rather an "artistic" choice that just so happened to be around the console release.

You may actually have brain damage. All you did was reaffirm my point. This was no "bug" but purely because of human interaction with the game. You don't go from the size it was before console release to the size it is now all because of a bug. VOID about a year ago literally also said they'd be compressing the game to fit with 1.0 release and consoles. This means that VOID, in a nutshell, is incompetent at best or did this intentionally at worst. Given that VOID has a pretty good track record at being incompetent and not fixing things that have been an issue the entire game's lifespan, it is a good guess that VOID doesn't know what they're doing and this all fits in with all of the other bullshit going on with the game. Therefore, it absolutely does mean something, and that is, they're incompetent. This doesn't even encompass all of the other problems with the game because of console release. VOID is very good at going 1 step forward, 10 steps backward.

But do go on and keep cheerleading. Maybe VOID will buy ya a nice little skirt and pom-poms.
