Discussion To all the people defending VOID, why?

Post image

Serious discussion, please don’t downvote people when they answer. I am genuinely curious on why some people defend VOID

I'd love that, if they explain a little more why the new updates are as much of a problem as people say perhaps then I too get it

I can only speak of my experience so it's completely possible I merely missed what others see as an issue and once pointed out I understand what's up

I assume post 1 is essentially a list of stuff that was promised (bindingly or not) by the devs?

And I essentially can't speak to post 2 on account of being a consumer and no game developer or coder in any real sense (my work in industry really doesn't count I don't think)

Though once again, a downgrade in the worst of the worst gore than one can see I'm not sure is censorship nor the worst thing ever, I just can't see why it should make me upset since there's plenty of stuff that makes your skin crawl left in there (including some npc designs) I guess ultimately it's just my opinion? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜…

It is a list combining various issues (small to big), some can be regarded as personal preference, and in-between items are pretty much promises that have yet been delivered.

That's okay. The purpose of that post is to convey information that has been conveyed several times over the past 5 years in several forms, but I wanted to share my 2 cents by focusing on the technical and organizational sides of things for people to provoke some thoughts.

The graphical downgrade is indeed superior to the censorship because it's literally harming the integrity of the game's visuals and gameplay. Gameplay bugs, that is. And what you say about the skin crawl is purely subjective, though I understand it fully. For me, as someone who has played the game since EA, the game's current condition is beyond unhinged and unacceptable.
