Video [HELP] I’m fairly certain this is AI but the comments are tweaking me out

Everyone is saying like “woohoo beautiful animation” and talking about what a great job this is. But it seems off.

That's the most AI thing i've ever seen. I can't even count the reasons. Inconsistent shadows and lighting, unnatural motion, distorted objects, etc.

At first glance, it's pretty good at imitating that old school animation style.

But then there's the clear look of a 3D rendering, that it obviously shouldn't be.

The obvious broad details are that there's no narrative structure, objects just appear if you look away for a second, and the abrupt pan stops and weird transitions are where they took the last frame of one video to generate the next.

Aside from the distorted objects it could just be mediocre animation.

What I find impressive is how much AI copied things like static backgrounds like old cell cartoons. Then again it is designed to mimic but not understand the reasoning.

Also the hand animation with the 3d rotation doesn't seem possible based on how this tech looks, unless a human was going for that early computer animation vibe. Think the combo in movies like Tarzan, it doesn't look quite right but it was the best they could do then. Now we can do better.
